To their fights. These guys are fighting at championship level. Their job is to train and fight. They train like 2 times a day, all that cardio , they run and they do all that boxing training. But still come to the ring with beer bellys. I don't get it. What the **** are these guys eating?

It's not their fault, they're victims of fast food advertising, victims

Diet is way more powerful than excercise.
To burn off the calories in one Oreo cookie, you would need to do some hard excercise for like 30 minutes.

    3500 calories burn one pound.

if you run for a mile at 7mph youll burn less than 200 calories (rough estimate).

its pretty clear that the best way to get in shape is to eat properly.

fast food industry has targeted all non-basketball/football playing large US athletes, specifically boxers with boxing themed ads. easily exploitable market. burger king "king" was a playable character in a previous fight night game. endorsement deals. mental messages via newest advertising technology. obesity levels in US/caribbean boxers coincides directly with rise of euro/soviet hw dominance & increase marketing dollars on fast food - they are victims, free your mind, read books ppl

Cris has been in much better shape than Solis lately. I just saw him a couple of weeks ago and he looks pretty solid.

There's no excusing his weight a couple of years back, though.

The hardest workout can be wiped out with 5 minutes of eating. Its a shitty and unfair fact of life.
Its well known that Arreola eats a lot of crap

Chris used to weigh 250-260. He has been fighting at 235-245 for the last 6 fights so give the guy credit. He will never have a David Haye body but he can compete for 12 rounds and is actually in deceptively good shape. Besides, having a David Haye body didn't help him in his career at heavyweight. Arreola deserves credit for staying at a lighter weight. Solis is just lazy. He was 245 for Vitali and he looked good. But now he's always at 270. Solis is really only about six feet tall but for his weight he should be like six foot nine.

Yes agreed, our US & latin heavyweight are TARGETED by bad nutrition, not personal fault & became victim in 15 year span. 90's hw rulers all american or cool countries, now look what happen - also what happen are advertising $$ towards talented american big men - they go to football/basketball or the fast food - double truth documented over 10 years by 1 man and 5 doctors - prove and live

It's not that hard. . . Especially in this day and age with all the food, and marketing, as my fellow carolinian, and fistic colleague Sir OttkeRuiz pointed out. . .

A lot of boxers DO NOT train year-round. . . Only a few will work out, and maintain their weight year-round. . Even a lot of world class guys will put on 10-15 pounds between training camps. . .

And some guys just have bigger appetites, and slower metabolism. . . Add up all the factors, and a naturally larger guy like Arreola, or Solis, could easily be putting away 3500k+ calories a day, while not training for 3-4 months at a time. . Then during training camp, they don't have to diet, and if you eat just as many calories as u burn, you're not going to lose any of that weight u gained. . .

In no time, they could put on 30-40 pounds. . . And once it's on, it's a lot harder to shed off. . . It's like a domino effect. .

not one oreo. . . that's ony like 80 calories u can burn 300 calories by lightly jogging for 30 minutes. .

but yes, your main point is correct. . . a decent sized piece of cake is 500 calories, and if u eat that on top of even a healthy 350-400 calorie meal. . . it adds up if u snack, and eat desserts/drink sweetened drinks.

diet and exercise r really key to weight loss. . . u can even gain weight while working out,

Yes agree & are also victim - in 1997 High Appoint Slavic Wizard Yorgez Isthazggudaizmyine synthesize odorless, liquid form of pig meat (various, pork, bacon extreme compact & tasteless delivery recepter) which he use inseminate athletic water & drink from 98 - onward through SPORT SPY NETWORK - place extreme caloric unassumed in large quantity of needed water to nominally healthy athlete. Beget weight, has! Become to each athlete overweight & complacency as to excessive kilojoule through inocuous water placed inside - create answer & is simple conspire.

Lack of eating discipline is the problem. Eating too much food, and shitty food at that. Also as mentioned when you take long stretches off from exercise it is easy to pile on the pounds and your metabolism slows down, making it harder to lose the weight when you do train again. In the best shape of my life I had to eat as much food as I could stuff in my mouth (around 4000 calories a day) just to maintain 188 lbs. Now that I don't train as hard if I ate like that I'd be a fat ass in no time.

I disagree with the 'diet' is >then exercise ****.

I'm watching the European Soccer Team Manchester United's season DVD.

The vast majority of that team eats like pigs and unhealthy British Food is worst then most foods. But they run an average of 8 miles a day and nothing happens.

Cristiano Ronaldo, gobbles down the most fattening food possible and he's fit as ****.

On a personal level, I have friends at my school that eats the usual fast food like pizza, burgers etc. But they are in cross country and they don't have any visible fat.

You guys can blame food, but it's still due to the fact these two ****ing ***gots are ******ed fat ****s who is too lazy to even walk a mile without stopping

    much less run
