Honestly here I felt Canelo knew Chavez was making the fight a stinker and was trying to lure him out for some better action. The fans put up a lot of cash for this hype job event. Chavez was a corpse in there and made the entire fight boring and irrelevant. Canelo knew that.

Golovkin wins by TKO but then Canelo wins a UD in the May rematch

These guys are evenly matched. There will be no excuses. Both are capable of beating each others ass.

    Amazing post!

If he beats GGG, I'll give him credit...more credit for GBP for knowing the right time on making the fight happen. A bit less credit as GGG seemed to be declining after Brook and Jacobs.

This fight can prove whether Canelo is the fearless Mexican warrior he claims he is ? or is he the El Pollo Rojo that Oscar made him look ? We'll find out in Sept

Canelo better not try that sh1t he was getting away with against Beefy lol. Canelo can't rope a dope GGG, if he does he'll end up like Stevens

You don't rope a dope any semi complete fighter. That foreman punching himself out was only because he was a very dumb fighter, young and dumb. He would've lost to a HB in the gym that night.

This is a great great true 50/50 fight, like Spence/brook, that's how competitive these 2 are talent wise. True pick em. Anyone claiming mismatch either way is trolling and everyone should know that basic fact

    Fixed your post.

If you're fair, and give credit where it is due, you will see that Canelo has had a very impressive run. How many fighters around his division can boast a resume like Canelo's. Not many.

Come again?? How has GBP protected him? Hahaha...

Canelo is one of the few fighters who was fighting the high risk low rewards fighters while everyone was ducking each other.

You're either a troll or just ignorant or both. Either way, I can't be bothered with you. I need to discuss boxing with more knowledgeable fight fans. bye

I m another that fancies canelo. And i like golovkin. Still say he gets hit too much for my liking tho. Canelo getting better on the counter. I think ggg will walk on to something big from him.

Ggg will be more careful but hes not really faced someone that can punch thats good enough to land. I think canelo is. Ggg,s a beast but so is canelo in terms of strength etc...you ll beat him with speed but hes not the type to fold. Hes solid in their. Maybe stamina issues...but at this stage ggg,s stamina not as good as it was. Can see a canelo stoppage.

Because they're going with their heart and not their brain, I knew Abraham in all likelihood would lose the majority of the match against Eubank, but to be a contrarian I couldn't bring myself to say what I feared would actually happen which is a man I genuinely despise in Eubank would beat a guy I genuinely like in Abraham. In the process making him look legit, in spite of the fact that AA is at the end of his career and hasn't looked great in years, his fanboys will push the win regardless.

Same thing is going on here. They have their fingers crossed that GGG will get old overnight and have a terrible night and that Canelo can somehow make it to the final bell and get a gift, because to acknowledge their inner voice whispering to them that this will be a violent blowout of one of Floyd Mayweather's best wins therefore making GGG look better than Money in the process and one of their worst fears imaginable comes true, GGG becomes a megastar, that gives them agita and makes them feel nauseous inside. So they choose to play make believe instead, its easier for them.

Man one thing is on Canelo's side is youth he's peaking as a fighter getting better as as boxer- puncher knowing his limitations in paper GGG should win but you must do it in the ring.

Canelo has the boxing industry at his side, a robbery on the cards is possible.
