[QUOTE=" Canelo is a level above the likes of Jacobs. .:deal:[/QUOTE]

P4P Canelo is better than Jacobs. But Jacobs is much bigger than Canelo and hits much harder. When is the last time Canelo ever demolished a top 3 guy in his weight class in 1 round, ala Peter Quillen? Truth be told, Jacobs lost only a few rounds in his fights. He was beating Pirog on the cards until he got caught with that big shot.

I'll tell you this right now, Canelo would have a LONG night in a fight with Jacobs. Trout and Lara, who are tricky, dont have the power that Jacobs has. We will see how Canelo will fight against Golovkin. Assuming he beats Golovkin, there's a good chance that Jacobs would beat Canelo.

We will see if the quick young rooster with his sharp beak and claws can beat the old fox who might be a little past his prime.

When you see Gennady, tell me he doesn't have that look of the fox who is about to be finally let into the hen house to face the "BIG BAD ROOSTER".

Canelo does real well against come forward fighters. GGG obviously is a different class and has more boxing skill than Chavez, Angulo, Kirkland, etc. but normally it's a style that Canelo excels with. We'll see I'll still take GGG but would not be shocked if Canelo beats him

Golovkin is a very skilled boxer with power. They only way El Pollo can beat Golovkin is by cheating somehow, Oscar will figure a way to cheat, such as owning the referee, judges and boxing commission. Reall............El Pollo will take his pecker and peck Golovkin to the testicles, the referee will jump in and stop the fight. Oscar knows the fans are fools.................and very gullible..............Tony Weeks anyone?

I expect Golovkin to knock El Pollo out..................even with El Pollo taking his pecker and pecking Golovkin in the testicles and using his wing punch, perhaps he thinks Golovkin is allergic to feathers?

lol you cant make refrence to the chavez fight, canelo said afterwards that he sat on the ropes and let chavez hit him a few times to make it interesting, if he wanted to canelo could have gone the whole 12 rounds without really being hit.

your not a canelo fan if your blowing that much smoke up ggg arse hole. Canelo boxes his head of and stops him late or wins by wide UD.

the plan would be to nullify his power and take him apart with aggregate shots I guess. Good luck in trying it.

I can see the argument but just don't buy into it. If we're assuming GGG has really been hit by age then yeah okay I hear it even louder but still, I just don't really see what Canelo does significantly better. Don't give me this hand speed crap either, everyone allegedly has had faster hands than GGG. Canelo is good, real good no doubt but he's up against it here. He might not get stopped but it's going to be an absolute jab fest imo. Canelo will land and probably land plenty but I don't think he'll be able to hurt GGG unless he just targets the body. For him to do that he's going to need to be inside a lot and to get inside you're going to get hit a lot on the way in, assuming you can get there. This will comfortably be the hardest Canelo has ever been digged in his career.

Actually, on a side note - who would we say is the hardest hitter Canelo has fought?

if 3G has been hit by age then his best performance was against Danny Geale.

    Given recent events:

*You can stop your opponent via low blow
*Win with a punch after the bell
*Win after being knocked out a second before the bell
*And most importantly, you can win on the cards after being dropped, throwing and landing fewer punchers, never hurting your opponent, while being hurt several times.

Canelo don't stop anyone but welters. World class 154lb's go the distance with him every time. Zero evidence to suggest he stops GGG.
