I do not hate Povetkin either, but I doubt two years is a legitimate delay. And it is not only about fighting Wlad - in fact, he hasn't fought any worthy opponent since his fight with Chambers.

BTW, I woudn't overestimate his TKO over Byrd or use it as a proof that Povetkin can punch. Byrd was declining from quite a time, and when he met Povetkin he was almost completely shot. At this point of his career he was KO'd by Wlad and by LHW George, and unlike Povetkin those were "real" stoppages (I mean, compared to the corner stoppage by Byrd father who just saw no sense in prolonging a fight his son was not going to win).

I haven't noticed much Povetkin hate. More disinterest than hate.

I don't think Atlas sucks. I'm among those that don't think a complete shutout over a top fighter ending in a vicious knockout looked bad. Wlad talked about the guy everyone has wanted him in the ring with, as opposed to the guy that isn't in a hurry to face him. Nothing wrong with that.

I agree with pt 3. since injury he fought 4 times and he was/still is mandatory
for Wlad the whole time ... so how more times is he going to fight the gatekeepers
before he step up to his potential and experience and finally decide to fulfill
    his mandatory obligation?

Klitschko is an exact replica of Carnera? Did you actually watch the video you posted? Carnera did not have the right hand, nor the left hook of Klitschko, and Wlad is far more fluid and athletic, as well as faster. The only similarity I saw is that they both paw with their jab and both fight tall. Just because someone is from an older era of boxing doesn't suddenly make them great or better than today's fighters. I'm sick of that perception.

Chambers could have been in better shape. He lost fair and square though. Part of being a prize fighter is discipline. Chambers was not disciplined enough at that point. Only way to settle it is by rematch

As long as Chambers continue his career, the rematch will happen no matter what.

That would be interesting. My money's on Povetkin (could be different pre-Wlad). Povetkin's power is probably under-rated because he looks like a dough-boy

That's typical hating. Peter wouldn't win a round.

No, I strongly detest Haye and have the right to do so. I'm the biggest Lennox Lewis fan and have certainly nothing against black Brits with a big right hand. But you shouldn't get KOd at cruiser, fight Bonin(!)and Barrett(!) to weasle his way to a title shot. All the way trash talking the Klitschkos and in the end walking away from his contract to take on weak Valouev instead. And then he took up the trash talk again. And fights Ruiz!!! :bbbIf that's not a joke I don't know what is.

As regards Povetkin I believe there are two ways this fight can go down:
    1. Povetkin goes right at it and they slug it out. The likely winner of this is Wlad by early KO, I agree with that. But I think the chance of Povetkin by KO is 25%+. Wlad's chin is a liability.
    2. Povetkin fights in-and-out like against Ahunanya. It's likely that Wlad wins on points or by late Ko but if he's somehow off like against Chambers Povetkin can win on points, too.
