    1. What titles are needed to be considered the undisupted champion of a weight class?
    2. Why aren't more champions interested in title unification? Why doesn't Manny Pacquiao unify titles in 135, 140, and 147; since he is so good he could probably do it.
    3. Where can I find the champion of each organization(wbc, wba, etc.). I couldn't find that information on boxrec. Thanks.

1.) There is alot of debate on when you are undisputed. Some think it is when you have the linear championship, some see it as having 2 or 3 of the recgnised 4 belts, some see it as being all 4 of the recognised belts. The recognised belts being WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO.

2.) There is alot of fans wanting unification, just the promoters and sanctioning bodies dont like it as they get less fees. Manny is aging and only wants big fights now, and if he wanted to become undisputed in any divison he would need to beat up guys that are WAY below him in terms of skill. Beating up guys like Alexander and Khan at 140 would do his legacy and bank account not much good, but he would need to beat this guys to become unified at 140.

    3. Google the belts I gave you above,

    1. The major titles are the WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF. Usually, if a fighter has 2 or 3 of the belts they are usually called the undisputed champion. Some, people though think you have to have all 4. It just depends on who you talk to, but usually having 2 or 3 means you are the undisputed champion.

    2. It's all about money. Unification bouts usually mean less fees for the promoters and sanctioning bodys. Pacquiao could, but there is no money involved to fight Amir Khan, Tim Bradley, etc. fighters that have the ABC belts.

    3. Ringtv.com has there own ratings system along with the 4 major belts.

Edit: Spud565 beat me to it lol.

These past two posts pretty much summed it up. If I had to choose one belt as the most important, it would have to be the ring magazine belt.

This is true but only part of the reason you don't see more unification IMO. Sure for someone like Pacquiao unifying would mean having to fight guys that are well below his paygrade but there is also a reason that guys that aren't huge draws don't unify. Tim Bradley wouldn't make any less money fighting someone like Devon alexander than any other fight but he would probably end up stripped because of not fighting whatever bull**** mandatory the WBO lines up for him.

Also more titles means more fees to pay.

ESPN.com can tell you who the current champions are for each weight class.
