I don't understand why Hopkins wants Calzaghe do badly.

Calzaghe beat BHop anyone thinking otherwise is dreaming.

I think that is indeed the way he feels..I can't blame him.

 

I hope something else catches his attention...I'd really like for him to lay off this idea so the field can narrow a bit, as a Kessler rematch is the most exciting (but least lucrative - so basically the opposite of Hopkins-Calzaghe II, which is the least exciting but most lucrative ) fight Calzaghe can take (barring maybe Dawson) and as an unabashed MK supporter, of course it's best case scenario for me. Especially since I believe the Dane when he says he'd bring a winning strategy based on intense scrutiny of and learning from the first fight.

I guess it was just a coincidence that his entire title career from 1995 to 2005 consisted of him fighting at middleweight in the US? Not his choice.

And when he had the chance to fight Calzaghe in 2002 and instead fought Joppy and a third fight against Allen? That wasn't his choice, that was just something that happened...

How is he any different than Margarito? Hopkins hasn't avenged any of his losses. Even in a thread having nothing to do with Margarito you still take a shot at him. Get over him.
