Kendall Holt has a bad chin. Below average at best. Berto's chin seems to be below average as well.

Yes, there aren't that many great American fighters at the moment, but there aren't that many great British ones either. I don't think we're slagging off about them, but other than Hatton and Haye, who is there really to talk about? Amir Khan, Nicky Cook and Enzo Mac are chinnier than any of the guys mentioned above. Carl Froch has never faced anyone better than a C+ fighter and fights like he's moving through quicksand. Gavin Rees might as well be a punching bag. Martin Rogan is exciting but even cruder than Arreola. There are only a few British prospects who look decent, but none of them really look like future P4P contenders.

Amir Khan is only 22, name me a fighter in the world who has got more skill, speed than Khan and who is the same age?

Khan's chin might even improves as he gets older and moves up in weight, at 5'10 he has a big frame and might even be weight drained right now and that could be having an effect on his chin.

If Khan chin improves in the near future, mark my words alot of fighters will be in trouble.

In regards to Dawson, Adamek can rock anybody, but he was hanging on for dear life with glen.

There is 4. McKart is another one, but I forget the name of the other guy. Pavlik has great heart and I'm certainly not a hater but my point is that the same rationale directed against British fighters can be used against their US counterparts.

Come on bro, you come across in your posts usually as an intelligent and knowledgeable boxing fan (maybe fighter, I don't know) but surely you can see that there are a handful of TROLLS and a majority of US fans that give due credit where it is deserved.

And then the underlined part? Come on my man, please don't tell me your gonna' join with the likes of RedGlovez and be one of the minority in Brit fans that just seems to hate the US for no good reason, I mean you did say it your self. The American fighters that are not Tip Top Shelf get bombed on by Americans the same as anybody else. Pavlik is the MW Champ of the world, and a GANG of Americans seem to wish him a horrible death.

John Murray and Kevin Mitchell are the brits to watch imo.

Being british myself, I always like to see British fighters do well. One thing that sticks out to me though is the defensive frailties of our fighters - they are all to easy to hit. This is my only general criticism of the brit fighters of recent years.

I like FLUID fighters who show defence aswell aggression. Britain does not tend to produce those type of fighters. Mainly just aggressive type fighters like Benn,Hatton etc. I only really like watching Ian Napa when i watch Friday fight night, and a few others. The style of our fighters is changing though imo. We are producing more fluid fighters with more defensive skill etc. Broadhurst,Gavin etc.

What makes you think American fighters dont like the British fighters? Tyson likes Britian, because he is treated like a god when he comes here. Muhammad Ali was a good friend of Harry Carpenter, and Reg.

Brits and Euros have roughly the same percentage of good fighters and bums as we do over here. In the end, putting down an entire region does no one any good. What does make each nation different are the general styles you see produced within them. Sometimes it's generalizing, or flat out wrong, but you expect good technical fighters from Europe, boxer-punchers from Argentina, bangers from Colombia, brawlers from Central America, etc...

I **** on British fighters sometimes just because there are so many of their fans on this board and their reactions are entertaining. But bottom line, if you don't like a country's fighters, there's no percentage in harping on it. Because every country has some howlers, and yours will be called out. And every country has some genuine greats.

Lay off the Brits for now. They have a decade's worth of defending Khan ahead of them.

What do you think of Paul Appleby and Kell Brook? I've seen their names thrown around a lot around here. Can't say I think too highly of Brook, but haven't seen enough of the others to make a good determination.

:good It happens. Just glad to know your not "one of them". I enjoy your posts, and would not like to start skipping them, because I felt you went all RedGloves on us.

Like said, there are complete DUMB ASSES on both sides, but the majority from both sides are good fans that know talent when they see it, no matter where the fighter calls home.:yep
