TBH, I haven't seen enough of Appelby to make a considered judgement, so it would be unfair of me to comment on him.

Kell Brook - I like him. He seems to have all of the tools, but i'd like to see how he reacts when he gets cracked on the chin, as i'm not sure he has the durability. I do hope that he proves me wrong on this though, because he has the tools to go far.

Regarding Mitchell and Murray, both have got very good skills, and have displayed their will and heart on numerous occasions. I predict that both will surpass european level and go to fringe world title level, i'd love to see either of them bring a world title home with them.

 

Some British fans seem overly concerned or sensitive regarding their fighters while most of us Americans could not give a **** what's said. Why is that..lol

Ahhh **** it!

I had been writing a really long post. A dissertation on the "Ugly Characteristics and Repugnent Personality of the Average American"

**** it. Americans won't read it anyway because they cannot bare any criticism and anyone who does read it just won't believe it anyway.

The reason that I was writing about it in the first place is because it's really ****ing annoying! No, I don't particularly mean just Americans slagging off all Euro countries while arrogantly believing they are untouchable (and the prize ***** at the bottom of page one who suggested a new forum for Brits whining about Americans, not considering that this is only the second thread - the last being several months ago - on this topic and there are only a few mentions in threads, just when some Americans are being obnoxious ****s and that it would be much more realistic to have a forum just for American to go on and on about how **** Brit/Euro fighters are and how good they are, as this is constant and you see it in almost all threads about a British/European boxer).

What really ****s me off is that Americans are so hated around the World. Americans believe it is jelousy or that we just hate the government or whatever. No! Not at all! We hate you! and we hate you for being you!
The thing is though, I know many Americans. I have American family and I know that Yanks are generally kind, decent, intelligent and funny but far too many are obnoxious, arrogant, repugnent, odious, boorish, stupid, cretinous etc etc and they never ever fail showing off about it!

The internet is full of Americans behaving like this and I am so sick of it! Why don't the decent Yanks ****ing shut them the **** up!? Have you grown that sick and tired of it that it just goes over your heads? Is it because you are so outnumbered by the imbeciles?

America will always be hated by the World if the wankers are allowed to continue acting like ****s. Believe me, you ARE hated!

It's so frustrating! People believe that this is just the American character. It has become more than a stereotype now and I feel it is unfair.
The kind of Americans I have mentioned won't give a donkeys dick about this. They don't care less what people from other nations think of them because as far as they are concerned, the views of other nations are unimportant and unworthy, completely insignificant but I would really, really like to think the millions of good Americans do care and get as fed up with this as I am and try and show the World that many Americans are truley wonderful people!

Just stick them all in Florida and do what one of your great country... erm... rabbits would do...

In any nation, it's the assh*les, idiots, and reactionaries who make the most noise. In America, this effect is amplified because our nation is huge, and our assh*les have more money per capita than any other nation in the world.

The McKart knockdown wasn't legit as what i remember.It was more of balance thing ,he was hit on the shoulder or somewhere when they came together and lost his balance.It was scored as a knockdown so i guess technicaly it is but McKart even said it wasnt one.

You even claim Ali hates us when he actually said that Brits are his favourite people in the World. While the vast majority of Americans hated him, Brits adored him! They loved him all through his career. Even when he beat Cooper, he was loved here.
The UK doesn't have the same problems with race as the USA does. The USA is recognised as the most racist country in the developed World and it was so, SO much worse in the 60's. Ali got so much racism but he never, ever had that problem in the UK. People in Britain never saw him as a colour, they saw him as a King and Ali couldn't believe that. He couldn't understand how so many white people could love him so much because all he had ever got from white men (apart from a few) back home was racism and hatred. He was really, really fond of British people and spent quite a bit of time in England towards the end of his career.

Tyson also has never had a bad word to say about Brits. He has said lots of good things though.

During the Roy Jones and Cal build up, Jones talked about his appreciation for British boxers of the present and past and said how much he likes them and appreciates their talent. He also said that if they were American, they some of them would be house hold names but because they are from outside the USA, they have been ignored by the US.

Hopkins has said a few times about how funny and witty Brits are and how much he likes them.

And to not support any American fighters, even the two best boxers who ever lived were American and America really has had a higher number of truley elite fighters (although this could easily be different. As Roy Jones Jnr said, American prejudice, xenophobia and isolationalism has prevented so many great fighters from Europe and elsewhere outside the USA from being recognised as the ATG's the really are) of all time.
