True, but the way they won their bouts is a clear indicator who is more 'deserving' of hype. Not much people hype Quillin because most figure that he would get spanked by Golovkin.

Quillin's hype has died down a bit lately.

 

I think the point is that GBP (along with most other knowledgeable boxing people) know enough about Quillin to realise that he plainly is just not much good. Certainly not good enough to place much confidence in him.

He didn't destroy Kovalev or knock him out with a body shot in sparring, lmao. Now Tyrell Hendrix..he put GG down with a body shot and that is a fact. Whether it was a 10 count or not GG was down. The reports I've heard is that he was down for the count.

 

LOL Peter Quillin is not big player in division i would not pick him to beat GGG, Sergio, Sturm or Murtin Murray and there is few more fighters that are 50/50 vs Peter, GGG isnt completely proven but is much better than Quillin and would KO him!

Kovalev has actually said he was put down with a body shot so I don't know where you got the idea that he didn't.

 

Like others have said, nobody is going around saying all these people are scared of Quillin or that he is top 5 P4P. We have that with the moronic GGG bandwagon.
