I really thought he did a good job refereeing. He allowed them to fight, didn't insert himself to often. I don't buy the whole "he should have given him a final warning" stuff either.

He'd been told to stop it, he usually gets away with it so he didn't. The ref told him to stop it again, he didn't. So he deducted the point.

He did it halfway through and right at the end.

 

Damn right he should have given a final warning before taking a point for a series of minor infractions. Very poor ref IMHO.

 

How many times do you wanna be warned?, How many times you wanna have a point deducted?. He deducts you a point and you continue doing it in 12th believing ref won't do it cos it's last round?. Guy's ridiculously ******ed..

Not saying any did :huh, But i don't believe a final warning would of changed a thing with Amir nor was it needed after he already deducted early on in fight. Khan thought he could ride luck and i'm glad a referee applied rules as Paulie M said. I think it was yourself who said ref wanted to be on TV and i agree he had the Smoger's about him but he made that fight last night and i think if Khan fought within remits of the law he'd of lost that fight. No pushing or holding, actually he may not of been champion cos a year earlier he did same thing in 10th against Maidana.
