As he's my countyman I should support him like is custom here at ESB.
In good delusional fan style I should start yelling he will (brutaly) KO both K brothers inside 3 rounds.

But I'm not sold on him. Seen a lot of his K1 fights, and it's hard to deny his defence and abilty to take a punch are really lacking.
He might make it to a title fight (although that isn't sure by any means), but he needs nothing short of a miracle to beat a Klitschko.
Chances are they will be retired by then, so that might do the trick.

 

I can't see this as a bad thing. If he wins, we have an entertaining HW that isn't a fat slob or blown up CW, if he fails, he can **** off back to kickboxing as we laugh at him.

 

At least we know this guy really brings excitement, and actually in the ring also. :yep

Nah, it's all about money.

A kickboxer has to win the whole K1 World GP to make $400.000.
For that he first has to qualify and then win 3 fights against the world's best in one night.

This kind of money is not much compared to being a major draw in the heavyweight division. And he doesn't even have to beat the best available to get there nowadays.
