This is the 100th thread saying the same thing. I want to watch b/c Bhop has something personal against RJJr & that might cause him to take chances against Roy. Not only that but these guys genuinely dont like each other and that will make the fight a lot more interesting.

 

everytime either of them fight im like who cares

but as the fight gets closer i get kinda pumped for it...they are good hypers

I wont buy it but im interested in the outcome for some odd reason

 

I'm kind of on the same page as you. I'm curious, but turned off at the same time. I hope roy beats bernard just because i don't like hops, but
there is no significance to this fight and it shouldn't be happening. Hopkins
should be fighting either dawson, glen johnson, or danny green. Not roy.

 

Jones is not scared of a guy who fights passive as Bernard. But I agree I dont wanna see it neither its not a good looking fight at all. If nothing else though Roy still has great hand speed and has to be in incredible shape he fought In November 08, March 09, August 09 and December 09 so the guy has been in the gym non stop. Never count him out but dont bet on him.

 

Not going to happen Jones doesn't have a good enough chin to withstand a sustained beating that would result in a serious injury if he gets hurt by Hopkins he'll get taken out soon after.

I'm not watching it either. I'm a huge B-Hop fan, but this is a shameful fight. I'm so disillusioned with Hop for taking it. Jones is clearly shot to **** and has been for years. There is no value, honour, or point in whipping the corpse of a once-great fighter who was annihilated in a couple of minutes by a journeyman in his last fight. It's a ****ing disgrace to the sport.

 

Agreed, he should have quit after Lacy, that was a good win but I don't want see Roy hurt, this guy is like my idol.

 

It's a low risk high reward fight for Hopkins

 

Yep. Both will be actually motivated to win this one. Obviously any time a boxer fights it is "for money", but this one is not "just for money". Bernard seriously wants to beat Roy.

 

It will be a terrible fight.

 

i'm really looking forward to this fight. i think it will be interesting. i have a wierd feeling that roy is gonna beat hopkins.
