I doubt taylor-pavlik 2 will get many buys

I agree - for this fight to be on HBO PPV - they aren't doing a big job of promoting the fight like they would do any other fight or fighter that they have.

On top of that - Pavlik is still not a household name and JT's name isn't that much bigger. I do believe that it's going to be a good fight - but this is probably a fight that should have been on Regular HBO.

Let's wait until after the fight to see what the numbers are - but I don't see this fight doing more than 300,000 Homes.

 

Yeah I agree...Hard to imagine that this fight is about 2 weeks away and Im not really that exciting about it..Poor promotion on HBOs part considering how exciting the first fight was.

They are really missing a chance to promote two up and coming fighters

 

Obviously here in Youngstown, this has been unstop media. I think there will be a huge Youngstown crowd in Vegas. Not as much as AC, but close. Also, I think the PPV's will be higher than expected.

 

Well, i honestly don't care how many buys the fight gets. All i know is that i'm excited for this one.

 

Then its up to us hard core fans to inform all the casual observers we know to buy this fight because it will be another barnburner, which is what fans want to see & will help put extra change in Kellys pocket. I don't mind my $$$ going there.

 

it's fair enough really, because i mean who really wants to watch two overhyped yankbums who've made an easy living fighting only in their backyard against no ones get it on?

they'll only have truely tested themselves once they fight in europe.

 

I wanna see the fight but I can wait until the following week. We as fans need to make a stand on this PPV crap. Its ruining the sport.
