I think Dana's banking on Davis beating Evans and matching Machida with Jones post Rampage (having Machida take an extended break from fighting to facilitate this) .

If Shogun scores a decent win over Griffin which im of the opinion he will , i think we may see Shogun Rampage next up , providing Rampage isnt beaten to badly by Jones .

But like you say who knows , there is plenty of eventualities and its gonna take a bit of time to un ravvel

Chuck couldn't put Tito to sleep in his prime, and he's lost the speed and confidence to TKO him. Tito's not known for hurting guys standing up (except Bader) but even he could probably put Chuck to sleep now.

Indeed. I'd expect Machida to get the winner of Griffin/Shogun, and I'd like to see Tito get the loser (Griffin/Ortiz 3 would be a hell of a fight, and Shogun/Tito would be very interesting if Shogun drops another one to Forrest)

The 2 stoppage losses still don't have you convinced?

Prime Chuck vs prime Tito, obviously we know what happens because we saw it twice. If they were to fight tomorrow I have no doubt that Tito wins. Say what you will about Tito, his jaw is cast of iron and Chuck no longer has the reflexes or speed to overwhelm Tito and get the TKO. The way Chuck was getting dropped in his last outings, even Tito who is not considered a heavy handed fighter by any means might be able to put Chuck to sleep...if they fought now.

    :deal

Machida's footwork and speed is too much for Tito.

as shrewd as dana (and the owners) are i doubt they're gonna immediately risk whatever the momentum tito has build with his win over bader by putting him immediately in with machida again. tito still has been able to sell fights and will presumably be able to do so a bit better now. i would think they'll put him w someone to try and maximize the bit of momentum so they can hopefully get 2 or 3 more fights out of him
