I never understand when people have this reaction to an opinion, it's utterly bizarre but seems pretty widespread on the General Forum.

How do I know that Hopkins '08 would dominate Pascal?? Put quite simply, I don't know that. No-one can, err, because it never happened.

When someone says "Tyson would brutalize Jack Dempsey" they are not trying to pretend that the fight did happen, and are telling people about its actual result, anyone with a brain can work out that this is an expression of a strong opinion, not of knowledge.

You want me and everyone else (including yourself) to preface every single opinion we have with "I think" or "I believe that", just to soothe General Forum hypermaniacs like you who get all indignant and angry whenever a strong opinion is articulated? Nah, that's never going to happen.

I THINK the Hopkins of '08 would dominate Pascal because Carl ****ing Froch outboxed Pascal, and I think a past-prime but still formidable version of a far, far, FAR higher level fighter like B-Hop just might have been able to do so even more emphatically than the Cobra managed. Happy now? atsch
