I feel a bit sorry for Fury, he's not getting any respect

    I thought the love for a new world champ in the media was a bit lame, it was ugly but he did something nobody believed he would. I thought it must build slowly but it didnt seem to be happening and then he made his homyphobic and seksist comments and now the media are on the attack. So thats that.

    I still love him. If he starts beating all the other big names the media will soon be back.

    He's the new Muhammad Ali.
    Ali did almost exactly the same thing, and yeah, millions of people hated him in his own country.
    Perhaps Fury will become massively popular outside of the UK.

    It cannot be explain by that. Just look at Mayweather: unexciting, boring, a POS in and out of the ring and a bad human being. Still...the guy is popular for some reasons.

    At least Fury has some skills with the mic compare to the uncharismatic sttutering Mayweather.

    He has or had the titles, but that doesn't give one license to act like a tool. I don't mind his comments personally but obviously a lot of ppl do. He brought that heat onto himself.

    yes, got him talking about agreeing with others not to give furry respect, yes nice one. which is the OPPOSITE to giving him respect, ie the opposite of what you claim hes getting by opening his mouth.
