Yeah, maybe mate. He was never world class (and thats not being wise after the event) but could still do a job at Brit/ Euro level, its whether he can get himself up for that after building towards world level for so long only to get demolished.
yea, thats the thing. needs to defo get back in the ring asap. im sure Tibbs no's what hes doing with him tho. hopefully he makes an appearance on may 21st
Used to like Murray, don't now. Khan's beef with him has **** all to do with why I don't like Murray anymore. Mitchell = Londoner, faced better opposition. Murray = Who has he fought again? When did he last progress? What's with the constant calling out when he can't even produce in his bum fights?, don't like his style either.
Mitchell hasn't fought anyone either, barring Katsidis. Johanneson trained in the local Wetherspoons for their fight, and the rest of his opponents are utterly gash. Even though most of Murray's better wins are against ex-Thaxton/Khan victims...... it's still a better slate than Mitchells, even though some of the records aren't particularly pretty. Mitchell's faced a lot of those ''never been stopped'' types, as many FW fighters in recent years have.
True, but I like how Mitchell stepped up to fight Prescott, even though Prescott lost I found it a ballsy move. His fight with CJ is also a very good win, and the Kats, which he obviously lost but he still put himself in there. Murray's always dissapointed me. We expected to see better opposition than Karim and thought he'd blow him out, but he did anything but.
Somebody said in another thread that if the mitchell that faced Mendoza turns up he would smash Murray can't find the post now I just thought it was one of the worst comparisons I have seen in a while as the Mendoza that Mitchell faced had been beat by Murray five years before
Prescott was a good fight because he's not great, but everyone knew his name after the Khan fight. It wasn't all that ballsy IMO. The CJ win is decent but not really any better than say Murray's win over Buckland. I expect to see him stepping up soon now he's with Warren. He may be one of those fighters who fight to what's in front of them, we shall see.
