Wallet did say about over reacting so i thought i'd say it before a Mitchell fan would say it with 100% meaning :-lol:.

 

Murray looked shocking the other night. Mitchell is thinking, "soft stuff". Rightly so.

 

IMO it's a 50:50 fight.Both fighters are never going to be world class

 

Murray was constantly calling out Khan. So Khan fans will enjoy seeing this guy getting exposed.

 

That's what fighters do when they're trying to get a big fight. Froch did it even more so to Calzaghe but it doesn't mean we have to hold a grudge against Froch.

 

Alot of ppl would like to see Khan getting KO'd for calling out Mayweather

 

Still a bit of a strange way of looking at things though...

 

Warren did everything he could for Mitchell, Mitchell just couldnt deliver the goods.

1. Mitchell got a world title shot in his hometown in a venue of his choice.

2. Warren put alot of money on Mitchell to get the shot, A huge purse for Katsidis

3. Mitchell if he won was lined up as a potential opponent for Khan

The public bought into Mitchell that he was going to win instead he got stopped, I dont see what Warren could do, If Mitchell wants another world title shot he will need to earn it this time. Not trying to get famous of Khans name.

 

And himself more to the point.
Mitchell always talked himself up to be world class but that was shown to be some way off the mark by the Katsidis fight.

He can come again and compete at Euro level but no more than that, way too may high class fighters at this weight.

 

It was for an interim title, not the actual belt. Mitchell would have needed to fight Marquez for the real thing.

That's true. But don't feel too sad for Warren, I'm pretty sure he made his money back.

How? All I remember is Mitchell saying how he wanted to fight Marquez.

 

I get what you mean. The deck is certainly being stacked in Murrays favour. Have hears this could be in June now.

Well, it's been a while since I've seen him out and about in Leeds (probably two years) but he used to be a regular fixture at one of the Wetherspoons and Yates's on a Saturday afternoon and night.

He's not the wild type though, just the sort to head out with a few mates and sit quietly drinking away.

A few times me and a mate have gone over to speak to him about boxing and he was always happy to have a chat, he said that Michael Gomez was the hardest puncher he'd faced and that Khan would have nightmares with him.

 

dont mention murray or kevin in the same breath as khan .
