If he can't make LW, he isn't a LW. If he's not a LW, how in the **** can he be the best LW in the world? :think
Why are you assuming that he was talking about you? I gave Freddy **** for his blind nuthugging of Mexican fighters and he came back talking **** about me being a Hopkins fan. That post had nothing to do with you.
**** a smart move for his career. He signed on for a fight at a weight limit of 135 and failed to make weight. That's unprofessional in itself.
if you think a fight between two guys weighing 135 and 137 isn't applicable to the lightweight division, that' up to you. I would disagree and say the fight tonihgt is a lightweight fight and the winner is the best lightweight in the world.
Cameron DUnkin is a fat pig who could care less about his fighter's health. On the 2 days show on HBO, they showed him trying to cover up how badly it damages a fighters health to cut weight, Rios didn't eat for five days for his weigh in when he fought in December. Dunkin said 'it was no big deal' and that Rios would move up in weight. Every idiot was trying to blame Gamboa for pulling out of the fight, this vindicated him. He'd basically be fighting a junior welterweight and giving up 15 pounds At least more likely 30 or more. HBO was stupid for trying to make another fight for rios at 135. If I was April I'd take 33% of Rios' purse or sue him for breach. Rios is a low-iq neanderthal but his management is to blame, they are supposed to be the 'brains' of the operation.
I wouldn't say it's completely diminished. He's still a young guy so his body is able to recover to about 85-90% which is good enough of a stage to beat up journeymen or bums. He would need to be 100% to beat guys like JMM or Guerrero which is definitely no guarantee.
It's not a matter of what either of us "thinks". I know the LW limit is 135. If you can't weigh in at or under 135 then you're not a ****ing LW. Even if he wins the fight, he doesn't get the LW belt because he weighed in above the LW limit.
You did homie, what are your other reasons for hating Rios? :think Because right now all I'm getting from what you're saying is you hate him because he should be fighting at 140, but keeps trying to make 135.:nono
I know what the limit is babe, I know he aint getting no title. I'm looking from a broader historical point of view. You call it a lww fight if you will, i'll call it a lw fight. No need to get all upset though baby, have a glass of wine and chill out xxx
Um because I have read the whole thread, and I'm the only one who wrote I am a fan of both Rios and Mosely and B-Hop. If I was wrong and he wasn't referring to my post then I apologize.
Weigt issues has been your sole complaint about Rios in every post you've made in this thread. You're right you didn't use the exact phrasing I hate Rios, he's a ****ing bum, because he has weight issues! But if you think he is a bum for any other reason than, he continues to try and make weight in a division he has grown out of, you have not used it. So I'll flat out ask you, if weight is not the only issue as to why you hate/think Rios is a bum, then what are your other reasons for feeling the way you do?:rasta
