I feel bad for vazques

Vazquez made Marquez look like he has more left than what he really does but Marquez still has something left.He doesn't move as well as he use to but his reflexes aren't shot and his handspeed was decent. He's obviously on the downside of his career but he still has another fight or two left in him where Vazquez should really consider retiring.

 

Agreed 100%! I had reservations going into it...you don't go through those kinds of wars in such a short period of time without one of them showing the damage. Disgusting management...it's crap like this that stains such a noble sport. Hate it.

 

His combination looked alright. But his timing and sharpness isn't the same. He could fight again but retirement would be smart. I get the impression Marquez lifted weights for his upper-body and did zero leg-work. He looks oddly top-tall.

 

They made decent money for the third fight, but this fight earned them more. As a fan and for Izzy's health I wished the fight hadn't happened. The third fight ended perfectly and this fight was tough to watch.

Izzy made a career-high for this bout, so hopefully he'll retire. The damage he's taken is terrible.
