I think i'm sick of this Hopkins BS.. yes he competed well into his 40's but for real. when was the last time hops fought anyone that was considered one of the very best in boxing ? tito when hops was back in his mid 30's.

people act like has been fighting the very best in boxing and winning.. hops for the most part since joe slapped him around has been fighting the weakest belt holders he could find.

if i'm wrong, who has be beaten in the last 10 years that was a top fighter in boxing

No betrayal, OP. Your heart can deceive you; acting on emotions rather than calculations will set you up for failure. With that said, no one knows who wins this.

If the guy I want to win is not who I think will, I won't bet on it at all.

Sorry, i didn't mean to imply that mayweather would stay #1 p4p in his forties, nor was i implying that Hopkins was. But it's not like the guy faded into obscurity or headlined espn cards. He was still competitive with the younger guys. He didn't turn into a roy jones or james toney. He was disciplined enough and had enough solid fundamentals to stay relevant and fight competitively. That's all i meant.

Almost everyone that was picking Pacquiao to win, even in 2009 immediately started to back pedal whenever the fight was "rumored" to be on. Then as soon as it was official that they won't fight, they came out barking again. Definitely not saying you're one of those idiots, just making it clear that this has been the case with almost all that support Pacquiao to be honest. Even in 2010 when the fight was rumored to be on, they were the first to cry "Another small opponent! :| He should fight Mosley! :crybaby".

Despite who you want to win, Floyd is the favorite for a reason. Betting on him is the smarter choice, but it's not a sure thing, if it were, it wouldn't be gambling. Pac is suppose to lose, but it would be really funny to see the faces of all those who bet big on Floyd and lost (as long as it wasn't a controversial decision).

Your heart is representative of you want to happen and be true, which is why you follow it in times on confusion so that you can least try to make what you want happen become true. In times like this where you have no control but want to capitalize on what will more than likely happen, you follow your head.

I agree If Manny gets a square deal in Vegas, which is doubtful, he can win. I just hope Vegas realize the world is watching this fight & that any jiggery pokery like in the past will prove what most people think Vegas is corrupt. This is Floyd's & Vegas chance to prove theyre not

Youre right on one point Calzaghe slapped LOL That was the biggest robbery since Jess James Calzaghe cannot throw a scoring punch how in the world could he beat Hopkins??
Hopkins is a legitimate ATG Calzaghe is a slapper

It's an even fight all across the board. Manny to me holds all the advantages. The only thing in my opinion which makes this fight hard to choose is ktfo6. Hard to know how to recover from that shot at this stage in his career. Manny could dominate and run into another perfectly set up shot...
