I feel like people are overrating Donaire

Is the SonOfCuba upset that people are favoring another fighter over Gamboa and Rigondeaux? ****in' hell, you could have atleast attempted to conceal your agenda.

 

he wouldn't beat Gamboa. can't believe people are saying that. Rigondeaux I have reservations about he doesn't look comfortable in the ring.

He is not overrated, he beat highly regarded Darchiyan and Montiel,in an impressive fashion( like they where nothing).Donaire is the complete package, name it he got it,speed,power, slick,can counter well, combination, can change stance effectively,good feint etc.

 

In a pfp sense i dont think Nonito is overrated.. I think he is the real deal.. And believe me im pretty good about not getting too excited over a fighter.. Im good at telling the real deal from just a hype job, especally recently ...

I do agree though that people are getting ahead of themselves in saying that he is gonna beat Gamboa... There is a good chance he might someday, but lets see how he does against the top guy IMO at JF which is Rigoundeaux.... Now im picking Nonito to win that but by no means is this a gimme.. Rigoundeaux is a big threat and i give him a good shot, however i feel he needs a couple more fights against the top JFs before fighting a pfp elite guy like Nonito. Despite all that big time amatuer experience on a world level.. the Cordoba fight showed this... I know that Rigo has learned a lot from that fight but hes only had 11 fights.....

RIght now if Nonito jumped straight up to 126 , id favor Gamboa... However could be different a year or 2 from know once Nonito gradually moves up. I get the feeling Gamboa will be all the way up at LW by then.

 

Look...Donaire is a Flat-out IMPRESSIVE FIGHTER. And I do think it's a bit crazy to believe that he can add weight, move up and beat the BEST OF THE HIGHER DIVISIONS. There are posters who belive that Pacquiao has done this...but in reality, all he did was add weight, moved-up and just beat bigger fighters...NOT THE BEST OF THEIR RESPRECTIVE DIVISIONS (Although Hatton was probably the Best 140lbs Fighter at the time). Now Nonito could do that as well. There are several fighters at 122lbs and 126lbs that he could just blow through....But Rigondeaux and Gamboa are two totally different BEAST!!! Now, I am not saying that Donaire would lose....But there is NO-WAY I can say that Nonito will BLOW-THROUGH them as he has done versus previous opponents.

Now with All that being said....at 118lbs, there is NO-ONE BETTER. In Fact....Donaire would easily beat all the fighters in this Bantom Tourney....EASILY!!!

Those are his legit victories. There is a rapid dropoff after those listed, but the top two would rank among most fighters' best victories. The rest are icing on the cake. Rather than fighting faded titlist/contenders, he fights them just prior to their rise. Donaire's gradual weight increase and activity plus the fact that he's one of the faster and more powerful fighters, P4P speaking, to go along with his accomplishments and current stature. His "feeling of invulnerability" is still very much there (example of "it" being gone: JuanMa : )

I honestly don't know who I like more..Nonito or Gamboa? I've seen them both fight live twice.

Gamboa has fought sh*T competition since his debut.

 

He would knock Rigo out cold. Gamboa is another story

 

It is the way of ESB. He was under rated far to long, now after one fight the pendulum swings the other way. Hard to pick against him if he gets in the ring with someone his own size.

 

If they could overrate Dawson, Berto, Bradley, Juan Manuel Lopez, Amir Khan, Rigondeaux, I don't see a point why Donaire does not deserve being overrated!!!!
