I freakin hate guys who count guys out just because of one lose. When Boom Boom got ko'd by Ponce, I saw all kinds of people jump off the wagon, now im seeing people say they knew all along Banal wasnt good and are jumping off his wagon! I feel sorry for Banal because he was getting labeled as being a possible next Pac and know he's getting **** on.

The kids only 19. There was no need to rush him into a title shot this soon. Hopefully he'll come back from this stronger both mentally and physically.

Thats the thing once a guy looks promising , his handlers gamble and take a shot.

Your right but everyone has started looking for Pacs replacement and that puts pressure on these Friday night fights fighters lik Banal to be great. Im not saying he cant be great but let him be a good fighter first. That is why I feel sorry for him.

The boy needs more training in strategies. I believe he can recover and learn from this setbac.

These people whos calling out for a "Pac replacement" should just die and go to hell. Those boxers are making their own footstep but other people are like those sport journalist are making them brain washed to follow packys footsteps. That makes those poor boxers only trust on what Packy has done and doesn't believe on their own. It does affect their mentality big time.

I might have felt sorry for him if PacDBest didn't hype him up as much as he did. Banal and Bautista will have more KO losses when they step up again. Youth is only a small part of it, their skills and toughness can only improve so much.

I hope he does come back and achieve great things.

However, it was quite a bad beating from what I saw; the guy looked like he had nothing left at the end.....actually scrap that last bit: he abviously had nothing left at the end.

Mentally and physically it is very hard to come back from those kind of beatings, but as I said I hope he does (others have).

Yeah, kinda hard to see our boy loses specially watching it live. Lack of proper conditioning and lack of experience were the major culprit to his defeat. He should learn from the trainers of Izzy and Rafa how to have those great staminas. But Banal will be back, mark it.

Big difference between Boom's loss and this loss. Banal made some beginner mistakes and gassed out at 19 years old. Boom proved that his chin blows, getting KTFOed in a round. Big difference in how big those damage a guy's reputation. Banal can learn and build on this loss. Boom will always have that shitty chin though.

Speaking of Pinoys, who's this Eric Canoy guy? I see he's only in his 8th pro fight, but he's matched up against Terdsak Jendaeng. Pretty big step up for an early pro. I guess he was an Olympian a couple times?

good post:good banal can still come back, he just need to get out of that place, like in most japanese fighting animes the characters always leave their place in order to get stronger. The real problem is his trainer/coach. He's not gonna learn anything from that..the same style they teach will all of their fighters.
