I feel sorry for Cotto

Looking back, it's messed what Margo did to him.

I wonder how far along this crap goes back.

 

That's ****ed up if its true. Shanes lucky they found it and hopefully Cottos alright. I saw "The Battle" again and Cotto was taking uppercuts from hell that wouldve crushed anyman.

 

If you look at the way Cotto's face was bashed, it just look like someone was hitting him with a bat. I was kinda curious how Margo punches was so devastating.

 

And because of his pride he fought with honor to give it what he got :good

He always wants to represent his people with his exciting style and skill, but he paid for it in that fight. He will still be the same wrecking machine he always was...don't doubt it :smoke

The question now is...I wonder what people will be saying about the outcome of the Cotto-Margo 2, now that the hand wraps come into play :think

 

I've always wondered about it as well...his punches seemed a bit...slappy...not so heavy or hard and yet people looked shocked once they were hit.

 

Hell, even if Cotto beats AM, he's still not proving that he's the best WW. He better tell Arum make the fight with SSM happen so the WW claim can possibly go back to Top Rank!

 

I think Cotto should give him a proper rematch and beat him convincingly...otherwise he might get flak for "not avenging a loss"...and we'll TRULY see if Margo does even HALF of what he did in the first fight without the use of the wraps...

 

Cotto might rematch Marg, beat him and go on to give Shane his rematch as well...

possibly...Then if Cotto beats both...would he be the ring champ and established WW king? Or would he have to unify against Clottey and Berto as well...assuming they keep their titles intact...

Antonio Margarito may have used loaded gloves, but we do not know this for sure. Only Margarito and his camp know the truth.

 

I don't whether Margarito cheated in the Cotto as being discussed however what I do know is criminal is that Cotto should never have lost to Margarito as he is a much better fighter as far as ability goes. Mosley's dominance and victory did not surprise at all. My only question mark was whether age would catch up with him at 37. Imagine all those who actually thought Margarito a 5 time loser could compete with PBF.

is it a fact or just speculation about the padding in the gloves? wasn't trinidad accused of the same but never really held accountable? If you believe Margarito had illegal wraps than how about all the careers trinidad ended by cheating. David Reid, Yori boy campas, and fernando vargas as stand out names.
