Firstly... he fights Kostya Tszyu, beats him... then gets "he was over-the-hill" responses. Nevermind the fact he was still KO-ing world class fighters before the Hatton fight, well world class-ish fighters in Mitchell. But he was icing them easily... without a sweat. Ricky was supposed to get walloped in 2 rounds, yet wins and gets no love.

Then fights Muassa, an absolute clown admittedly, but plenty of cats were saying Harris would spank Hatton, yet Hatton beats the guy that beats Harris. Still, no love. Then again, he dont get much love from me for that fight... thats a fair one.

Goes up to fight Collazo.. steps up in weight, it actually taking an ass-whuppin in a lot of rounds yet pulls out the win - shows a lot of bollocks down the stretch. Gets no love. Now, Collazo is a dope fighter.. as recently seen with the next "big thing" in Berto, a freakin light heavy masquerading in a welterweight division. Collazo could and maybe should have got the W on both occasions... but Ricky gets no love for beating him in a close ass fight which coulda gone either way. For me, I like Collazo, thats a big win on his resume, especially up at a new weight, especially since Collazo put a beating on Berto.

Then beats Castillo... over the hill? Yes.. yet some people thought Castillo would beat him, but Ricky iced him fairly handidly. Still.. just another result laughed off.

Then fights Mayweather.. the best fighter of the generation. Does very well for 6 rounds, then loses. Its still a FAR more competitve fight than most people think it was. Re-watch it and tell me that was an easy nights work for Floyd. For 6/7 rounds, that was a close fight.. even if Floyd won every round, it was still close. Some people try and act like that was a Gatti type fight, ludicrous.

Then absoluetly pummels a pretty shite fighter in Lazcano, gets tagged and all of a sudden was a terrible performance. Hatton was smashing him EVERY round... wasnt even competitive. Gets tagged and hurt then all of a sudden its a shocker. Wasnt vintage but still won every damn round.

Then fights Paulie... supposed to get outboxed again... doesnt lose a round. Paulie lands about 10 punches all night. Still gets no love. Even the boxing "experts" were picking Paulie.. absolute joke. Now the win is laughed off because Paulie can't punch... yet people wern't saying **** before the fight. Was a 50-50 pick in most peoples eyes... yet he gets no respect at all for the win.

Now its Manny.. totally written off again. Its madness. Cats are so fickle.. buy into the bull****. Before the ODLH fight, Manny was supposed to get ATE by Oscar, so how can you go from being supposedly ATE up to being unbeatable in one fight? .. Mannys always been good, it didnt take the Oscar fight to realise it, but once again people bought into the bull**** of what was "supposed" to happen. Hattons gets no love, and I for one will not be suprised AT ALL if Hatton beats Manny on saturday... no one bit, actually, I'm pretty confident he'll hand him his ass.

    Holla...

just to console you, i'll give you just a point to ponder. if pac didn't beat oscar as badly as he did, pac wouldn't be the favorite for this fight.

    thats how boxing works.

Pac beat Morales, Barrera, JMM, Oscar, and moved up over 8 weight classes winning a bunch of lineal titles along the way and still gets trashed left right and center.

The thing is Hatton has picked on smaller, weaker, older, past prime fighters and Mayweather aside kept himself away from the very best.

Hatton has been champ since 2005, in that time the best fighters in his division have been Mayweather (turned it down 5 times according to Daddy Hatton), Cotto (turned down), Witter (turned down 100times), Bradley. Hatton has always gone for the easier options at 140

it's the end results that is important and not the opinion of the guys before a fight. it wouldn't do much for hatton's legacy if he is a big favorite before the fight but get trashed after it.

Ridiculous man.. Floyd is my fav fighter but it was far from Gatti. Utter nonsense man.. re-watch.

This site should have a room where we can all watch a fight and have a like a little comments messenger box where we can post up our rounds scores n ****... would be useful.

C'mon man.. nothing like the Gatti fight.

Hatton wins it'll be oh big deal he beat someone who started is career at 106 lbs.Thats the nature of the beast. Wait I'm sure hatton outboxed urango for at least 8 rounds before his virus came into play.

all 3 judges scored it 11-1 to hatton.

urango got his head boxed off.

the only thing you got right is that hatton fought the 2nd half of the fight going backwards.
