Wlad just put on a clinic against the 3rd best heavyweight on short notice and all people are bitching about is how bored they were, the Klits are megatrons and would've more then held their own in any era, Vitali KTFO tyson who everyone is praying for a clone of.

I don't wanna see a dumb, reckless powerhouse flap his arms like micheal phelps and hope to land, Wlad has understood and performs the essence of boxing, the Klits are a victim of the times with "fans" these days who just have a perverse lust for blood and don't appreciate or understand the essense of the sport, the Germans however do and whatever we may think about the lack of atmosphere in the stadia they have the right attitude, educated and see boxing as a sport thats why 12million tuned in tonight (40% market share) unlike six pack joe in the US and unfortunately increasingly now in Britain who just understand POW!

not to mention the Klits are great ambassidors for the sport, PHDs, feed kids in Africa and everything.

You forget the fact that this perfect boxer doesn't go to the body, doesn't throw uppercuts, rarely used a left hook tonight (if at all actually) and doesn't throw any combos apart from 1-2 and maybe 1-1-2.

No one is disputing he is very good at what he does, but the truth is different to what you and to be fair the haters paint.

and how often did you see perhaps the greatest heavyweight of all time go to the body. no one is calling him the "perfect boxer" but the amount of ridicule is just ridiculous. btw didn't he stop rahman hooking of the jab.

The greatest HW of all time doesn't jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab at a guy with his hands round the top of his head with his chin so low its resting on his boots.

He throws something round the guard or goes to the body once or twice to bring the hands down for the right hand (this is a punch with power that is thrown with intent) it's basic stuff but Wlad neglects it for safety reasons.

Just what people want from the Greatest HW in the world.

Can I just add I was actually more impressed with Wlad than usual tonight.

Doesn't change the fact his game plan confused me.

Is there anything confusing about Wlad?

He's all about caution. Everything he does is trying to win the fight, but with as little risk as possible. Hooking leaves you open, so he doesn't do it. Body shots really leave you open, so he never does it. Uppercuts leave you really, really open, so even when it's screaming for one, he won't do it. Jabs and straight rights are as safe as it gets really.

If Wlad had an iron chin, then I think guys like Thompson, Ibrag, Rahman and Chagaev would have struggled to last 12 rounds between them. He has all the tools to completely smash up these guys, but he's too relucant to do it.

People are frustrated with him because he is so good. He's not going to risk gasing or taking a big punch again whilst he can put on a clinic behind the jab until opponents are mentally beaten. It was interesting to see him putting in the right hands pretty early in the fight.
To beat him you need to attack and jump on him early. This would be Haye's big chance, but I doubt Haye would take the jabs Chagaev absorbed let alone one of those accurate right hands.

He's good at what he does bt i'd rather watch my cat fight my neighbours cat for his whiskers- then watch Vlad fight. He will probably beat Haye too but just because he is effective doesn't mean anyone is going to suddenly find him entertaining.

Give me Tyson, Lewis, Ali, Frazier, Liston, Marciano,Louis any day of the week.

Klitschko is very good at throwing the jab and one-two then running away but the only time he's exciting is when he's been splattered. They have turned the heavyweight division into a boring baron wasteland but I think ultimately its nessacary because hopefully one day soon someone with a bit more 'jazz hands' will step up and beat them.

Jab, Jab, Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hand. Jab, Jab, Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hand.

    Repeat until bored.
