why would a clone of tyson be bad? do u forget that he was actualy pretty skilled and had good movement too. he wasnt someone who would throw one big punch and be exhausted by round 2 like all these other fat ****s.Wlad may be the best, but being the best of this bunch of heavyweights is kinda like being the best looking hillbilly

I just couldn't believe it when he had him pinned against the ropes and just continued to 1-2!

To be honest he should be a wee bit embarassed about that, even though he was extremely good in general.

well.this is what they have shaped up the division to be??
to hit and not be hit,i suppose is the real skill isn't it?
but when your chin restricts you from doing anything else, and that really is anything else apart from a jab and left-right,then the illusion of a champion somewhat escapes me.
whilst i have to respect what vlad does,i can't bear to support him and why feel sorry for them??-they are ultimately successful and rich with absolutely no risk of long-term damage!
i think what they are doing is bringing heavyweight boxing into a new era, although not intentionally i must say.it just means that a true champion will be thrust into the limelight once they have been de-throned.hopefully that person will have the initiative to use a full arsenal of skills to make themselves a champ and re-draw the blueprint of a heavyweight champ of the world.
    please!

The reason why Wlad never goes to the body, or throws any hooks because you have to get in close for that, but he has no heart to do that.

As a display of non-risk boxing and using your reach to best effect, he is flawless.

You can say what you want about them being technically great etc but at the end of the day it is an entertainment industry and if people aren't being entertained well you've **** out.

It's up to others to overcome Wlad's cautious but effective style. He's not doing anything wrong. Looking at the bigger picture, he's beaten the #3 in the world and is going some way to unmuddying the waters in the heavyweight division. Isn't this what fans want long term?
Slip and counter is right, Wlad is a good ambassador for the sport - something that cannot be said of Haye.

I 50-50 agree... Its good he is cleaning up the division because when Haye or someone else a little does knock him out.... hopefully they will be a little bit special and take over a slightly less confused division.

He as a person is a good ambassador for the sport your right- he's a gent....

But as a fighter he is probably the least exciting fighter ive seen for sometime especially with such a fantastic looking record. Both he and his bro need to clean up the mess that is Valuev then a young gun needs to blow them away.....

    It has to happen.

I feel sorry for them with all those rabid lunatics drooling over them on the gm. If I was Wlad I'd live in a bunker

Its not all one sided they do get a lot of hate on the GM aswell though some people just cant give the Klitschkos any credit at all due to there sheer hatred of them.

I hear you. I appreciate what he does, and how good he is at doing it, but for me his style just does not get me going. It's not the 1-2, its the way he looks scared and paniced whenever anybody gets near him that puts me off. Plus I think when he's dominating a guy and softening him up, I think he could try and finish him like every other fighter does rather than the stoppage being a byproduct of the same old thing.

I disagree that Vitali would beat Tyson also. I don't think that leaning back style with hands down is going to work out against a guy with the speed of Tyson. Especially not this version of Vitali, he has not impressed me at all since his return.

  14. He only looks good because the Division is so bad and they are much bigger than most other HW boxers !!

I mean what does Chagaev have ? Speed (no) Power (no) Size (no) Skill (not really) and is a pretty average amateur style boxer, he wouldn't have even been in the top 10 in the 90's

Wlad has nothing but a decent jab, and it works against todays bums who are 4/5 inches smaller. But is it so much to ask for him to go toe to toe just a couple of times
