Another part of me was just happy to see (even for 20 or 30 seconds)...the wanderlei i used to watch back in the 2000-2005 era...that's the one i always want to remember...and last night's fight was like a flashback of the golden era... Classic **** , (he even was holding the guy by the throat during the finish).. :D

Now the ideal fight would be wandy vs jackson III , then a rematch vs Liddell..

But to be honest , i'd rather see him fight in other orgs such as Dream or affliction.

He should only get Jackson if Griffin defeats Rampage. One KO of Jardine is not enough to warrant a title shot in his next fight.

I'd rather see the rematch with Liddell before facing Jackson (or Griffin, if he wins).

Maybe a rematch with Kanehara or Yuki Kondo, maybe Minowa is available for another go round.

Possibly Dos Caras Jr would agree to take off his mask if he lost.

Houston Alexander would be pretty spectacular, I think.

I agree I was stoked to see the old Wanderlei come in and rip apart a good fighter in violent fashion. Sorry for Jardine he looked dead there laying there for a minute.

That was vintage Axe murderer action last night. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I only got to see Penn/Sherk last night but I heard Wandy put Jardine to sleep in about 30 seconds and he was out cold for over a minute.

The rematch with Liddell needs to happen before anything else, that first fight was very good and competative. We already know what the outcome of Liddell/Rampage III and Silva/Rampage III will be.

Yeah id like to see Wandy and Chuck do it agian because I dont believe neither is deserving of a title shot right now since Chuck is 0-2 vs Rampage and Wandy is 1-3 his last 4. Let them 2 do it agian in the fall maybe October and fight Rampage/Griffin vs Machida or something. But then you got other guys out there like Rashad,Thiago Silva,Shogun,Sokodjue in the mix. Very good divison right now.

Damn that KO was vicious! Jardine looked like he had gone into rigor mortis.

I'd like to see Silva in a rematch with Liddell and also i'd like to see him fight Shogun. He seems to be the only one from the old Pride 205 division that Silva hasn't fought. It would be an exciting fight.

I think Silva will become the Silva of old again once he realizes that the fans HERE IN THE USA love him just as much as the Japanese...

    Wanderlei feeds off the fans.....
