Styles make fights. Silva will lose to Liddell if they have a rematch.

Liddell is too big/rangey and his go-backward style makes it hard for a smallish 205 in Silva to get close. Liddell's straight punches will always get there before Wanderlei's looping shots.

Remember the few moments in their first fight where Liddell backed him up against the cage and Wanderlei started winging those windmill punches, hitting nothing but air, while getting drilled in return?

Yup Liddells a nightmare for Silva styles wise. He beats him 7 out of 10 times. Great fight though well worth the 5 years of wait.

Maybe....just maybe. Even though "styles make fights" , there's still 50/50 chance for wanderlei to pull a victory vs liddell.

If there wasn't , (and if we follow at 100% the logic of "styles make fights" ) then Wanderlei would have beaten crocop in the rematch , he would have beaten Henderson too...but he didn't.

I remember seeing this guy pulverise Jackson on two different occasions and still today , i believe that Quinton as a solid chance to beat wandy.

No one can be 100% certain of the outcome of these fights. Remember Yoshida vs Wandy II ?...split decision , very close...same with arona.

I'm glad Wand won and i really hope this win gives him that boost he needs in confidence, but at the same time i think we are getting a bit carried away wth this win because Jardines chin could be worse than James Thompson's.

You can't really draw much from this fight imo.

Saying that i was impressed with how relaxed Wand was for the entire build up of this fight. He was cool as a cucumber and looked like he knew he had Keith's number.

Very happy Wand won (and in style) you could see how much it meant to him. I agree he doesn't deserve a title shot just yet. A Liddel rematch would be good or even a match against some of the other victorious light heavys who fought on the same card.
