I felt sorry for RJJ

    The real question is what the best 168 RJJ would have done against the best 168 version of Joe Calzaghe. I would say the best 168 RJJ was the night he decisively beat Toney. I would say the best Calzaghe is a couple of years before the Lacy fight.

    Jones was pretty awesome back then, but Calzaghe is a better fighter than Toney was (go back and watch the Dave Tiberi fight and imagine Joe in there with Toney instead).

    And how come the Welsh don't use his proper nickname: "The Italian Dragon? "

    If Jones was in his prime I dont think it would be an issue.

    Toney is a good fighter but has struggled to split decsions over avarge fighters

    and was weight drained against Roy

    Mike McCallum was in his 40's and more shot that Jones is now :yep
