I fervently believe that if Floyds' hands weren't injured, he would have gotten a KO.

He had Pac afraid the entire fight upon another rewatch. You could see it in Pac's eyes. He just couldn't deal with that power.

That's why he was so hesitant to throw. Had Floyd's hands not been injured mid fight, he would have gotten that KO.

    Discuss.

I don't think it had to do with Floyd's hands being injured. I think there was a X% chance of a glass shattering in the forecast... At some point if they fought enough rounds Pac walks into a straight right hand and goes down.

You know, I have been mulling over that for a while and I am in total agreement with you on that. Not only for the Pac fight but also for other of his fights. I think that his hands are the reason that he is not as aggressive as he used to be. I think that his hands are also the reason he is letting it go. He is tired of the pain.

Who was Floyd's last legit KO?

    I can't even remember.

    He can't KO welterweights...

Khan (poster boy for glassjaw) goes 12 rounds with him easily...then eats a cookie just like Maidana.

Seriously, what is so fun about all the endless arguments on May-Pac? There's a whole boxing world out there.

I can't wait for them to retire :soccerbl:

They've had their time already...need to gtfo and move along.

Matthysse Pacquiao is all I care for...Although fairly sure Pacquaio strolls it.

I see this as a fair thread since the forum is inundated with trolls constantly saying manny was a one armed paper hanger... I disagree just like the manny claims. Mayweather would have been busier offensively but it wouldn't have resulted in a knock down or knock out, just a wider score but if manny had a 100% shoulder he also would have marginally more success since he'd have the confidence to put more pressure on, again, the way the distance game turned out, the strategies carried out, same result if both were fully fit with these approaches.

There are definitely some fighters he would have stopped if he didn't have glass hands, Pac included.
