I finally watch Rios vs Abril in which i watch it on youtube. And let me say.....

    Shockingly i was impress by Abril. Many here saying Abril was holding many times? Well i'll be honest, yes he was holding but he wasnt close to holding way too much like Molina did. Look on the inside Mostly Abril was doing was the shoulder roll Mayweather style defense in which he did it perfect. Abril was killing Rios with right hands all night long and was landing very good combinations. And Abril wasnt running all the time like dumb a$$ Freddy keep saying. Abril fought a perfect fight. Also Rios did look really weak going into the fight. Hopefully this is the last lightweight fight for Rios cause he cant make that weight anymore. As for Abril? Well everybody knows he won the fight. I honestly dont know where he goes from here. I doubt hbo or showtime will be calling abril anytime soon cause of his style. I'm thinking why not Abril vs Broner?

    Abril was great. Knew Brandon's weaknesses and executed his game plan.

    I'm not gonna write Rios off just yet though, I want to see how much the weight took out of him. I'm assuming for a come forward fighter like Rios he will need to be as strong as possible. We won't know until he fights a similar style fighter at a higher weight class, maybe he just struggles with boxers but like I said I want to wait before I decide.

    Same here, I didn't think he was too negative. He was very calculated and in control too, Molina vs Kirkland seemed scrappy and a bit desperate to me.

    I said i'll be honest until i see the fight for myself. Was Abril holding? Of course. Was it alot? In a way yes but it was smart and his clinching wasnt close to Molina clinching. And Abril didnt run alot. Abril fought a perfect fight.

    Cant wait to see slick Cuban Abril in action again. He would beat Rios 100 times out of 100.

    He hardly held at all like some noobs on here claim, completely neutralised bum bum with the shoulder leaning in and right glove protecting his chin. Beautiful stuff

    i think Abril won the fight - no doubt. What is amazing is that Rios is the better athlete! If Rios had been in shape and knew how to throw straight punches, he would have hammered Abril. As a minimum, why can't Rios know how to throw straight punches?

    Rios is on of my fav fighters but Abril made me a fan that night, I thought he would eventually gas out and get knocked out cuz of the pressure Rios brings, but he kept his composure for the whole 12 rounds, Abrils a tall skinny guy he should move up to light welter n rematch Prescott

    Call me nuts but i rather see Abril vs Khan cause they both are tall with fast hands and both lost to Prescott. I think Abril can beat Khan in all honesty.
