People don't realize how ugly things are going to get if/when it goes under...regardless of how you feel about Haymon (and honestly, all boxing power brokers are shady and self-serving), things are going to be terrible for alot of fighters once the cash runs out at PBC.

Shrinking budgets and airtime is a reality that's hit boxing hard over the last 10-15 years, and it's not over yet. The worst thing that can happen is to have over 100 fighters stuck in limbo in a market where the supply of good fighters far outstrips the financial demand to see them.

We're going to see ALOT more fringe PPV matchups of fights that would've been regular HBO or Showtime fights in the past because they're going to lean more and more heavily on fans to subsidize the fighters' purses so they don't have to. Break-even will be the new "profit" because as long as they aren't losing money on PPV, the mission of getting fights made without networks spending more is accomplished.

To those who constantly ask "why does it matter how much a boxer earns" or say "it doesn't matter how much a boxer makes" should worship Don King. Literally, those people should without hesitation and without doubt feel Don King is infinitely the best promoter ever (or at least the best promoter ever during their peak).
