    Max Baer lost to Marciano in the '68 computer tournament.

    He also had a few exhibition fights with Dempsey in 1933

    Wont be right but nevermind :lol:

    Ted Lowry, only man to twice go the distance with Marciano, died earlier this year... and in 1942 he fought "Italian" Jack Dempsey!

    Than in that casi, I as a boy shook hands with Joe Gans at Feltmans Park Coney Island in the early 1940s...
    It was "Italian Joe Gans", of the 1920s....

    This means Jack Sharkey may not be the only man to have fought both "Dempsey" and Louis so to speak.

    Did you know that Rocky Marciano and Joe Louis actually fought twice ? Well,in a sense. Rocky lost an amateur fight to Codey Wallace,who played Louis in Joe's biopic !
