    I came from a tough era ! At the age of sixteen, I fought my first pro bout
    forty two rounds. Fought for a title, but never became champion.
    Became a legend not as a boxer..Who was I ?

    Need I say, you are correct Henry ? Yes it is Charley Goldman who was a young boxer in the terry McGovern camp. Charley had his FIRST pro fight in 1908,at the age of sixteen, fighting Eddie Gardner 42 rounds...Just like
    today !!!
