What does everyone think of the unrecorded fights Jack Johnson had with Jeanette/Mcvey? BTW link didn't work for me
The link describes a fight between Johnson and Kerchfield. The report says Kerchfield, who was a Chauffeur by trade struck Johnson several times in the face. Apparently Johnson defense in a street fight wasn't as good as it was in the ring vs. hapless white hope types. The fight was over Johnson accusing Kerchfield of stealing a spare tire from his car. The KO might be misleading, as it refers to the arrest of Krechfield, who for all we know might have got the better of the scrap.

In the ring, for sure, but on the street, I would not discount Kerchfield as the news article said he landed several punches to Johnson's face. Krechfield must have had some skills! Anyone know Kerchfield's height and weight?
I go with super middle here, McVey. Still having fun with a typing mistake I made a while back? You make your share of errors too. For example, a first name should be capitalized, yet you do not do that for yourself? On second thought a lower case suits you. It is dangerous to score bouts based one news report only, but by the looks of it Mr. Kerchfield got the better of it.
And how about Holmes jumping on a windshield? I can not recall any of the other past champs that got smacked around by a chauffeur though. Didn't Tyson once give a motorist the business?
