Definitely not, but to assert that Mikkel is a top level elite now after he's lost to Calzaghe is to be criticised, even though we have evidence in video and statistics that he was cleaning out the B level guys like a top elite would, even better than some top elite's, rarely dropping a round.

It's interesting that Michael Nunn, a fantastic fighter, was dropping a lot more rounds than Kessler to comparable opposition before he started fighting on the elite spectrum.:yep

But no, we have to deal with a shot Hopkins and then his overrated co-partner DLH, guys like them hold all of the marbles and it's sick, because they are so beatable.

I don't even have to watch this ... (cannot call it a fight). I just think about it and it puts me to sleep.

ruiz-holyfield trilogy were three epic battles that served as ruiz' welcome party to the elite of the heavyweight division

Ruiz vs. Holyfield trilogy may well get you to sleep - But only with restless horrible broken sleep full of nightmares of being caught in a vice like grip and a horrible "KILL EM JAWNNY!!" being yelled out by Stoney...

Joe Cortez owes me many rounds of my life back for calling that Holyfield body shot where he dropped Ruiz low - In the second fight I think it was.

I fell asleep to PBF-DLH on-demand the other night too! Only made it 3 rounds. The only thing that made the fight interesting was when it was live, you didn't know who was going to win or if there was going to be some bull**** scoring. Without that to look forward to, its a real snoozer.

Rahman - Ruiz will not only put one to sleep, it may induce a coma. I recommend we NEVER speak of that fight again for fear of Banishment. I mean, from now on. Starting.......now.

    Blah blah blah...

Mayweather fights Hatton? He shoulda fought Cotto. Mayweather fights Baldomir? He shoulda fought Judah. Mayweather fights Judah? He should have fought someone else...

I mean, say what you will dude, but we are talking about the linear WW champ, followed by a much bigger much stronger hall of fame fighter in DLH, followed by an undefeated in over 40 fights champion in Hatton. Three years ago EVERYONE wanted to see Hatton versus Mayweather, and neither of them have lost since then.

No matter who Mayweather fights some people will say he is fighting the wrong guy.

Am I the only one that's never bored by any live fight on HBO? Even the Andre Dirrell fight was entertaining in an interesting/funny way. I could seriously watch paint dry if Larry Merchant and the rest of the HBO crew are commentating during it.

Well thats boxing and it can be applied to everyone.
I do think if Floyd fights Cotto he'll not recieve the same criticisim though.

I don't think it was nearly as boring as some of John Ruiz matches. Clinching excessively is much worse than running/potshotting. The reason why Andre Dirrell gets so much hate is because he truly is the definition of a runner. He was much taller than his opponent, so he literally ran around the ring and fought as safe as he possibly could while still winning rounds. It was mildly entertaining to watch just because of how funny Dirrell looked fighting scared and running. Plus, the reactions of the fans and the HBO crew were funny. John Ruiz's punch/hold technique was not entertaining on any level though and it sllowed down fights ilke hell. Watching his entire fights feels like 24 rounds.
