I agree on all points. Anybody involved in the sport of boxing would tell you that one foul deserves another. Hence, Tyson's reaction to Evander - it's not because he was losing, it was because he was being headbutted incessantly. Ortiz's intention was to try and hurt Floyd with his head. Good for Mayweather for returning the favor with something slightly underhanded, but within the bounds of legality. I have no more respect for Floyd outside the ring than I did last week - but his caginess and boxing IQ seem to be getting better, not slowing down.

Since you know the future right?? That fight was just starting to get interesting and Ortiz had just landed some good shots that drove PBF to the ropes. His strength advantage was obvious which is odd because PBF is usually stronger than his opponents.
That size would have only played a bigger role later on in the fight.

I just cant seem to understand why PBF fans cant admit that what PBF did ruined the night. If it would have been a fair KO then props to PBF. I was one of the few on here saying PBF deserved big credit for taking on such a young strong opponent regardless of what 90% of ESB said.
He was winning the fight but lets face it the sense of danger was there due to Ortiz power.

Merchant started his tirade with Floyd and Roy long before last Saturday night. Rosy incident acknowledged on HBO was Merchant telling Roy he might get knocked out after the second Tarver fight. Pretty disrespectful if you ask me. Merchant can act like a dam fool when a fighter is low and expect no retaliation. Merchant is lucky he was dealing with a gentleman because any sane and decent man would've whooped his old ass for trying to be slick out of his mouth. Never once o you see Merchant questioning Manny about whom he's fighting even though there scrubs.

Look man Ortiz is a front runner and PBF is known for be a slow starter who gets better as the fight goes on. Except this time PBF started fast was busting Ortiz up had his eye swollen, hadn't lost a round, was in complete control of the fight and was only hit with 26 shots and this was in 4 rounds of boxing.

Ortiz wasn't hurting PBF he wasn't getting to him he was frustrated by his lack of ability to hit PBF with anything of note even when he had PBF on the ropes PBF responded by taunting him with laughter. Like everyone else he understimated PBF's skills, his strength, toughness, nastiness and knew he was in for a long night that's why he resorted to such a dirty foul similar to what Zab Judah did when PBF fought him looking for a way out. PBF saved Ortiz from the inevitable ass whooping man and you know it.
