I've been critical of Floyd in the past but I was impressed on Saturday night too.

For one thing, he was in no way, shape or form "running", he was standing in there and banging with Ortiz, being aggressive, backing victor up in spots and I beleive he was going for the ko which was cool to see.

I don't like the way the fight ended, because I feel it was just getting warmed up and victor was starting to get Floyd on the ropes a bit. It's unfortunate we never got to see what would have happened.

However, how can ppl really be pissed off at Floyd for KOing a guy in anger, who just launched a flying Billy goat headbutt a him? **** that, Ortiz made it dirty and Floyd finished it.

The biggest dissapointment for me was being robbed of the natural conclusion, of what may have been the most exciting Pbf fight in 5-10 years

Agree on all three counts:

- Floyd was performing extremely well during the fight

- Ortiz's headbutt was borderline insanity

- The ending was a huge disappointment, wish Floyd had tried to punish him by boxing rather than trying to play dirty trick for dirty trick with Ortiz, robbed us of a great spectacle

Not really Merchant is just asking the appropriate questions. Like in the Baldomir fight, Floyd wears that crap gladiator thing, but why the fight did not turn out to be how a gladiator fights(that people start to leave and boo). Instead of answering the question appropriately, Floyd goes into outburst.

As I remember Mayweather was the one that started laying into Merchant who was simply asking a question. it's his job to asks questions for **** sake if you don't like answering questions then GTFO of the ring.
