It doesn't hurt to be honest but I't only milimeters to the left of the centre of my eye. Could it blind your eye if you got cut right in the pupil? I suspect it came from the corner of my opponents glove. we were sparring another club last night!
damn you guys are scaring me now! It only hutrs a little but Im supposed to be sparring again tomorrow night and Friday night! worth the doctor fee just in case they say it's dangerous but my trainers don't take chances I just didn't say it to them yet because they didnt see it yet.
Is sparring worth your vision? You're not going to be missing anything, I used to be just like you.. feeling as if I'm in a rush and freaking out when I miss a day of practice. Your body isn't done developing and rest is important... especially your vision
no of course not. I only box because A- I love it (even though I'm no good at it) and B - at my age I need to keep in shape (I'm no spring chicken). But what I should have specified when I say "cut" is really more of a "nick" on this white tissue to the right of my pupil. My pupil itself wasn't torn but the blood mark is so small that it just looks like my eye is bloodshot. It's just that I was just wondering if anyone ever had this before and I think it was a freak occurance. I won't take any chances though thanks for the advice.:good
At your age you definitely need to take more care of your body then . The cut isn't going to stop you from hitting the bag and circuit workouts
Definitely go to an eye doctor. Most likely scraped your cornea. I had it happen before to my eye and it became red and really irritated. I had to use eye drops for about a week or two.
Your eyes are really not something you wanna f*ck around with. Go see a doctor before you do anything else boxing related! You're no spring chicken, but you could have a 50-60 years of blindness ahead of you. Think about that!
I've had one of those. it repaired quick as in a day or 2. It could tear more when unhealed if you're worried. Goto doctor, get his recommendation then take that to your trainers.
your a fool for even asking such a question, and a bigger fool if you dont go to the doctor but hey its your eye
