Why 5, scar? I've seen this quite a few times by you. Is his power really more than Mosley, Margo and Clottey? Just a question.

Not at this weight with this good a puncher. Pac was wobbled by JMM. Pac has been knocked down from body punches. I don't think Pac has proven he can take Cotto's best goods.

    That! :deal

I really doubt it if Pac's gonna stand and trade . . . so If Cotto exerts the pressure early and keeps pushing Pac backwards with his jabs . . . Cotto can win this.

Both can KO each other. I pick Pac by D or late KO

Agreed. Cotto's best chance is to use his strength and size to back Pac up and take away his speed advantage. If he does that, he also nullifies his power, as Pacquiao is a momentum fighter. Without it, he's not as effective. I just don't think Cotto has the defense to imply such a strategy without paying for it himself. The second Pacquiao gets his respect with a big shot, he has it in the bag.

I actually think that cotto's best chance are his body punches. If you watch PAC/MAB 2. MAB's body punching is actually effective againts PAC. Pac's left body is always open for a right when he throws his left straight. Imagine that with greater power.

i consider jmm, mab, and em technical, he had hard time but "can't handle" is too much.. it's actually the "power" that gonna bring trouble to pac IMO

It is absolutely ridiculous that people have this fight as anything but 50/50..with the odds in vegas i'd lay some money down on cotto if i wasn't such a fan of pacman (and i am actually slightly leaning towards a pac win...no walk in the park mind you)

Despite Pac's recent success (and taking nothing away from that success), Cotto has to be the favourite here.

When I predicted (correctly) that BHop would beat Tarver, I felt I was going out on a limb and that the smart money probably should have been on the magic man.

But when I predicted that he would beat Tito, I didn't feel I was making a daring prediction. All things pointed to Tito having little chance. I couldn't understand why Tito was the betting favourite.

Likewise, I can't grasp why Cotto would be the under-dog here.

That said, I'm beyond surprises when it comes to Pac, so I won't be shocked if he finds away to pull it off. And it will greatly increase my already high level of respect for Pac.

But I think Cotto will probably be too much fo him.

    Looking forward to this one.
