If I were dirrell I would fight Abraham the same way I did froch for the most part. Abraham isn't gonna be doing anything early and dirrel should steal those on the jab and moving alone. Dirrell's problem as many have pointed out is discipline. He get's undiscipline coming out of punches. He's a superior athlete that relies on his reflexes as well as hand and foot speed. He showed super reflexes dodging all of froch's stuff even when he was cornered not moving his feet. AA sets people up and throws decoy punches (with no intention to land) to set up hard shots. I saw him move taylors guard with the left hook to open up the straight right hand that ended him.

Dirrell isn't like taylor, He is on the move for the most part and jumps in and out with shots. I think he can do this and take the early rounds. By the mid rounds AA could be very fustrated when dirrell makes him open up and come get him. I wanna see AA KO someone standing at an angle instead of standing infront of him. AA might even wanna start a little fast when he sees dirrell is gonna make him bring the fight. Then we don't know how his stanima will be if he is forced to bring the fight and chase the elusive dirrel.

There are many ways this stylistic match up could play out with all the variables and unknows. In my opinion I think dirrell should win but I can't bet on him being discipline all 12 rounds. If he stays at angles I think he will win wide and abraham will be swinging at air all night.

AA is 11/8 favourite with Betfair to win the "Super 6" tournament and Dirrell is a 13/1. Now I appreciate that Arthur has 3 points in the bag and Andre has zip, but it would appear that based on those odds, the British bookies are going to have AA a quite heavy favourite in this match-up, which means that for those who favour him, Dirrell could be a good bet.

The above scenario is most certainly possible. I know a lot of people are not fans of Dirrell, but I must admit I am and whilst I have my doubts about his temperament I do not doubt his skill. Imo he has the ability to win this fight, but I would not be at all surprised if he ends up like JT and that is why this fight is one that I am looking forward to.

Things just got that much more interesting with the fight venue being changed to Andre's back yard! If Arthur wasn't targeting a KO before, he might have no choice but to gun for it now.

I'm inclined to agree...Given that Dirrell felt he was the victim of bad judging and now with the switch of venue...I think Dirrell will come out to put on a performance of his life...Dirrell has the tools to outbox AA, but the thing is will he have the gameplan to fit his skills to secure him a victory...Thats the million dollar question...Cant wait for this fight!:good

Just put some money on Dirrell as he's almost a 2/1 underdog in the UK. Really fancy him to do a number on Abraham, too quick, too elusive and with a point to prove.

This is a true toss up fight for me, i was favoring andre, but im starting to lean towards aa again.....

I think my official prediction is going to be AA by TKO.... i think at SOME point, he is going to make it a rough fight for Andre, and i dont think he will survive when the time comes.

actually im gonna go with Andre by SD lol.... its in his home and if he can just keep from getting stopped or put down TOO much i think he can win enough rounds to where if he makes it the distance he will get the decision.... final prediction! lol

Either outcome (Dirrell decision or Abraham KO) is entirely possible in my book. I'm just mad I still have to wait 4 weeks to see which scenario actually plays out. May the best man win! :thumbsup

Abraham is one of the most flat footed fighters in the sport. His footwork is deplorable. A Dirrell victory seems apparent.

really depends on Dirrells mental game he could blow it. Also AA is a smarter fight then people realise

It would tickle the hell out of me to see AA lose to a green prospect who is comng off a loss in the worst title fight of my lifetime. However, it ain't gonna happen. Unless AA suffers some sort of freak accident, like when Hearns sprained his ankle, he will knock Dirrell out cold.
