People saying cotto is going to gas out they seem like ignoring the fact that he is training with a doctor, all his workouts are scientifically measured to ensure progress, Cotto's trainer also said that miguel is faster and with improved technique, Cotto himself is talking a lot of things he has never said before. This is more than selling the fight, they actually believe it. Pedro said they did every thing possible to prepare miguel for the victory. If Cotto loses, I'll give Mayweather all the credit. But I have a feeling too. I am even more sure about this fight than the margarito rematch

They also sparred more than 130 rounds, they seem like having plans A-Z and made sure Cotto actually implemented them in the sparring sessions.

cotto is going to win if he can do some things early.

-keep floyd guessing.

-work the body and shoulders.

-don't stand in front of floyd doing nothing.

-don't fall into a predictable pattern.

if can do all of these things early...he's got a chance to win it. if not...i see floyd breaking him down and winning by decision. he's not stopping cotto. cotto can possibly stop him though.

 

no. i like cotto, he's a credit to the sport, he'll fight anyone, anytime, without all the bull****, trash talk and demands.
i would love it if he became the first to defeat mayweather, nobody could say cotto does'nt deserve a huge slice of good luck, but, mayweather's just on another level right now, i do fear cotto could be on the end of a mayweather-gatti type hiding, i hope im wrong, but thats how im seeing it.
