I read somewhere that he didn't want to be weighed in for this fight either and had to be talked into it.

I think Pacman would definitely stop Ortiz. Pac is very effective in the fights I have seen him against southpaws. His jab become more effective.
But if Pacman wipes out Ortiz, they'll say he's fighting the guys PBF already beat. I suspect once Pac beats Marquez, he will fight either Bradley or another Jr. Welterweight top fighter.

Yet you won't dig it up.

I never said no more than 140.... considering they were fighting at 147.

I always said I felt he could make 140 still. And I already explained why. You think people are going to believe you without proof despite everything pointing in my favor?

Hey, if it helps you sleep keep at it. :thumbsup

4 pound weight diff or not, Juan had to bloat up to that weight. And the lower the weight Floyd was in the jmm fight, honestly, makes him look even worse. I could understand if he rehydrated to 160 and couldn't make the contracted weight, but if he came in at 152 and couldn't make 144 :huh

Mayweather looked bigger vs Ortiz so I'm guessing he was no heavier vs Marquez.

Was Marquez lying? NO that's just what he assumed since he didn't win 5 seconds of the fight, he didn't know the weight so his assumption isn't a lie, just a bad guess infliuenced by an ass kicking for 12 rounds.

but it's cool for Manny to fight the Marquez at the same weight he poved to be ineffective at when he lost every round to Mayweather 2 years later after he's gotten more shopworn. *******s double standards are hilarious, this would be like Floyd rematching Oscar right now at 147.

I don't think Floyd cares as much about how people perceive him as the people who perceive him. The way he KO'd Ortiz on Saturday showed that.

Floyd has probably never weighed 160 in his life. He's a little guy, and Juan can't know how much he really weighed. Whatever Mayweather said is probably the truth, 152.
