Fight in the mma. He has a wrestling background from high school and boxed. With the shorter fights, the ability to go to the ground, and his power - he could make it very far. What do you guys think, should Kermit go mma? Or would his defeiciencies in boxing hold him back at that sport too (mainly his heart issues)?
I just told someone that in the other Cintron thread. But he wanted to fight someone after they called Floyd out and Cintron was the only one to respond
You make it sound like he's totally done with boxing for losing twice to a man who has his number. Cintron is still a good fighter and a threat, Mosley lost to Forrest twice and Winky twice, did that mean he should've gone to any other sport after those losses?
hold up there man, how on earth can you compare cintron's loss (a knockout loss) to mosley's? How dare you even bring up mosley in the same breath as cintron. Mosley got knocked down twice in the forrest fight and got headbutted. Guess what he did that cintron didnt do? He got up and finished the fight, fighting every round like he wanted to win it. Don't ever ****ing do that again holmes. As you can see, a 36 year old Mosley still can be competitive with today's prime fighters. You think Cintron would handle cotto like he did? ****, I though mosley won that fight. How dare you.
its fans like you who are ruining the sport. his lost two fights, big deal he has alot to offer to the sport. a boxer losing a fight aint the end of his career its the beginning, give the boy time, he will come good.
It's funny because I heard the exact same thing said about Mosley after the rematch with Wright but in a different way. "Mosley just doesn't have the skills, all he has is some speed but no power at all". Fans in boxing tend to say such stuff after someone loses but it's not really accurate. The man still has 29 wins, if he was someone who only had power and nothing else then he would've AT LEAST lost a few more times before losing to Margarito. I don't care if you'll say he met bums, if he's a bum then he'll struggle with bums, correct? The man deserves a break, he's a good fighter and I'm sure he still has a lot left in him. Losing to Margarito twice isn't as humiliating as people try to make it and it's not career ending.
Cintron is not that good as far a skillz. But he does have a punchers chance and probably had one of the best ko's ever. But he should be in MMA that's for sure. Out of the top 10 ww who can he beat, I think Berto would beat him
You must be really stupid to think that I'm comparing Mosley to Cintron, I'm using that as an example regarding the "You lost twice to the same fighter, go to MMA please" comment, NOT doing a comparison here. I'm a big-time Mosley fan and got all his fights amateurs and professional I don't really need any education on Mosley. About Cintron I'll still say the same thing I already did, he lost twice, big deal. If he wasn't any good then he wouldn't have won as many fights as he did, and if you consider his opponents bums then shouldn't he struggle against bums considering he has nothing but power? Here's a new example(please don't think I'm comparing again), Bernard lost his first fight, he should've gone to soccer instead. Have a good day.
not with those demons lurking around in the back of his head. That is going to affect him with any type of pressure fighter who puts them in deep waters. Trust me, Cintron aint comin back. Mark my words.
Some of you guys are really silly, excuse me for that. Where did I compare Mosley to Cintron?!, I'm comparing those losses according to the guys comment, which was "He lost twice, he has nothing but power, he's better off in MMA". THAT'S why I used Mosley's loss as an EXAMPLE NOT TO COMPARE BOTH FIGHTERS OR THEIR LOSSES OR STYLES. And to repeat again, I appreciate you trying to educate me on Mosley but I really don't need it. I got all the sources I need especially when he's one of my favorite fighters all-time.
