He'll probably argueing with you about it and make an excuse like Dawson did and say hopkins was running.

I wasn't aware of the stats to tell you ther truth because that fight was stopped too early with a lot of controversy. Can you post the compubox numbers so I see for myself?

 

The circumstances mirror what happened to Hopkins in the Allen fights. Hopkins was accused of dogging it the first time around against a fighter who was giving him a hard time and who appeared on the verge of dethroning him. X came back in the rematch and delivered one of the more impressive performances of his career.

Now, I realize that Dawson is a lot better than Allen, and that Hopkins is a lot older now than he was back then. But given the fact that B-Hop's legendary ego has been bruised just as badly this time as it was back then, I think that will make him even more motivated to do the same thing he's done throughout the past decade...prove that people are mistaken for writing him off.

Dawson can be passive at the best of times. It's very possible that he can be hypnotized and then out-hustled by Ol' Man River in the rematch.

And since I'm a believer that history has a tendency to repeat itself, I think I've gotta go with Hopkins this time around.

I put down 15 bucks on him, which is quite a lot of money by my broke ass standards.

 

I really want my boy Hopkins to pull this one out. I just don't know if he has enough magic left in his ol* ass to be the master of another A Level fighter, who is much younger and stronger.
