I'm surprised to see B-Hop as the favourite here... everywhere else he's clearly the underdog. :blood
Hopkins made Calzaghe miss, and timed him coming in over and over with the right hand. He also put him on his ass. YDKSAB

Dawson is all confused at Hopkins silence, first he said he'd win a UD wouldn't look for a KO and now he's saying he'll KO Hopkins in round 5 or 6 (over at the scene) the closer the fight gets the more confident I am that Hopkins has got this one.
Hopkins is going to make him get tired as soon as round 5 cause I know where the key to beat this guy is - rewatching that first Tarver fight when Floyd was there and retired and called Chad to tell him that he was the best p4p fighter out there, the guy started to lose steam as early as round 3 but he had a second wind and started to throw creative 5 punch combos with body shots and str8 right jabs ( sometimes pumpin double, triple right jabs and finishing with the left), but most of the time he used speed to lead double right hook and that's what Mustafa Muhammad told him "Speed Kills". The guy was all squared up and had a standing still target in Tarver with most punches getting thru the gloves and arms. I tell you, this guy can't deal with a guy on the move and who uses angles and presents only his side to him!
my book has dawson as a -400. unbelievable. still have not heard who the judges or ref are going to be which is crucial once this goes to the cards.
Dorfmeister, I agree with you about the style and strength match-up analysis. However, I think you exaggerate a little bit the extent to which Hopkins' advantages will compensate for Dawson's athleticism and activity level. I think it will be a very tough fight for Dawson, but I think he'll get a close decision from the judges who will be on his side too.
From this guy, I accept opinions such as these cause I had multiple debates with him but why are you sayin that judges will be on his side? Cause it's a general idea that Nard faked the injury? You say I exagerate but in that post I only mentioned that Nard will get him tired as he will be stalking him. Otherwise, I only repeated what Al Bernstein commented on that other fight. No one said he has raw power and nobody said Tarver defended himself well in that Showtime broadcast.
Im going with Dawson.. Too Fluid, Too young and too Fast for B-hop! But you could never count out Hopkins..
I believe Hopkins is working on inside tactics to try and frustrate Dawson. If he can frustrate Dawson, he has a decent chance at pulling off the "upset". But if he cannot frustrate him, he will get beat more decisively than he has ever been in the past. So, I'm not too sure what will transpire. Some say Dawson shoved Hopkins off of him out of frustration. Others say that he was showing Hopkins he can play rough too. We will see Saturday night.
