I just feel like boxing fans don't appreciate what this 43 year old man has been doing for the last 10 years, I didn't want him to fight Pavlik, I thought it would be the worse person he could chose to fight..but that shows his heart... Regardless of what happens today I still got hopkins to win. I wish for him to retire with a great victory.
i have pavlik to KO hopkins in rounds 7-11! and a bet on bhop winning decision! and a fiver on a draw jst as odds are so good!
close decision IMO. hopkins will stun everyone with a gutsy display - he's a tough guy and too smart to be bombed out. he's been in with harder punchers than pavlik + a peak jones and wasn't troubled too much
Motha****a, people didnt appreciate what he was doing 15 years ago. Here's a toast to those boxing fans that had Bernard Hopkins in their p4p lists before fighting Trinidad.
I guess he's trying to poetically say Hopkins will always be a winner in his eyes. Honestly no matter who wins, I'll be happy. If Pavlik wins then it's good for boxing. If Hopkins wins, it'll be great to see an old warhorse pick up one last big money win.
Yeah, probably that's what he meant And I pretty much agree with your feelings about the fight's outcome.
I think he means if B-Hop loses he'll just say he was old and he woulda smashed Pavlik in his prime :rofl
