I got it WRONG! Canelo won the fight.

    Well, sir, I respectfully disagree. Either way, Canelo won fair and square. I picked him to win a decision and he did. I just came up with a bad card at the end of the night.

    agree to disagree is all good with me I picked him to win as well... thought he would stop Trout late.
    Either way, Showtime did a **** job, they were biased in favor of Trout

    Maybe they were influenced a bit by the almost constant flicking punches that Trout was throwing, but not landing. Maybe they were as tired as I was, which is no excuse. For the record, if I were a professional judge, I would NEVER score a fight while being so tired. I had a great time meeting Mike Tyson though! :happy

    Great card, this is EXACTLY what I saw.

    Trout's activity paid dividends during the middle of the fight but only during the middle of the fight. The beginning and end of the match saw Canelo firmly in control of his own destiny.

    Malignaggi really poisoned the well by overrating Trout's performance in the knockdown round. Moreover, Al Bernstein (who is a charlatan, IMO) kept underrating the defense of Canelo in favor of flurries of Trout.

    A lot of people who don't know **** about boxing automatically assumed that Trout would outbox Canelo and when the reverse happened, they didn't want to eat the **** they brought to the dinner table. No other real explanation.

    In my case, I was not scoring badly because of the Showtime crew. It really was an honest mistake from a tired man. I was also not expecting Trout to win. I picked Canelo to win the fight by decision. I was just too tired to focus on every little detail. I know that is the reason because after all, this wasn't a very hard fight to score, in my opinion.

    It depends on how many Showtime channels you have. They showed it this morning, but I think it was on the second Showtime.

    Trout got played right outa the box. He don't even have a rematch clause. That why he was talking that better man ****, trying to be nice in hopes of a rematch. That's a done deal. Now he gotta take the long road. Al Haymon or somebody dropped the ball on that one. GBP had Canelos back because he had a rematch clause. Plus I think all the judges were WBC Judges. The fight was held in little Mexco.:lol: Oscar is in love with Canelo:yep. Talking about a stacked deck. Trout was a dead man walking. Having said all that, Canelo fought a decent fight but I think if the fight were held anywhere else in the states, there might have been a different result. Even if Trout thought he was winning, they let him know with the partial cards. They might as well just blurted it out over the speaker system. TROUT!! YOU AIN'T WINNING ****!:lol:
