I dont believe in Wilder although I like him. I think he gets exposed in this fight Ortiz is LEVELS above everyone else he fought Ive seen the Wilder cracks - Getting hurt by Eric Molina - Getting outboxed by Spilka before he one punch KOd him - Being befuddled by Gerald Washington easily losing the first 4 rounds -Getting dropped hard and almost stopped by Harold Scorniers Wilder loses by KO
Ortiz is 48 years old and got drug tested the **** out of him. I don't think he wins this fight, even though he is far superior to Wilder when it comes to skills.
I'm being completely honest and going out on a limb but I honestly think Dominic Breazeale has a good shot at upsetting Wilder.
Wilder comes in so light because he will get on his bike and avoid any contact with Ortiz. Ortiz comes in SOFT, he is not fast, his reach and height were an outright LIE. Wilder UD12. Ortiz will look gassed with an open mouth by the mid rounds, Wilder will be fresh and potshot from the outside.
I am also picking Ortiz Given the odds, it’s be a good bet /return on investment Had I not lost $500 on Wlad /Joshua, I’d bet on Ortiz
I think with his size and non stop agression Breazele could win too. Only fear is a premature stoppage, Breazele can be hurt but he recovers so well. 260 vs 214 Wilder would have his hands full with that nonstop tank
I believe Wilder will win, that being said with a gambling perspective and the odds given I would bet on Ortiz.
After seeing the weigh-in, I'm picking Wilder by UD or late stoppage. That's how I think it will go... unless something unexpected happens. This is HW boxing, therefore the latter is always a possibility.
Not a betting man, but i'd say the odds for Ortiz suggests it worth putting some hard earned cash on him to win.
